When you said log, is that referred Event Viewer log?

It seemed like something force close your application. Other than Event Viewer, make sure you have selected "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" in Data Execution Prevention.

I found the other manual patches through googling. They are usually posted along with the official announcement on cherrycredits. They are not available on the download page though.

By log, I mean the log folder. Found the DEP settings. It was already set at that setting. =/

hey guys, i got a problem with my game here....its been hit by the black screen of death, which its strange since i've never had this problem before. the client is working normal, but when i start the game up, its stuck at the black screen.....


anybody here ever experiened this problem before?

black screen problem normally your internet connection.
last time i kena this back whenever my housemates open hundreds to thousands of p2p connections.
for some reason, if the udp connection is high, dn sure kiok one.

the other popular reason is using mobile broadband like p1 wimax, maxis 3g and stuffs.

hmm, my lines ok. no downloading, and no other people using my line other than me.....must be their connection to mine......

try to get a different IP. switch your router off for a few minutes and switch it back on again. maybe your current IP kena mindfucuk.
edit: just realized, you're playing in a party ah? got cash shop error when entering a portal? that means someone in your party has terribad connection.

dude, i cant even irene's death march screen. it just starts up, then goes black screen on me..... i'll try restart my modem and pc at once to see if itll solve my problems.

Hi guys, i just started playing dn in holywood lol. my first character i made a warrior. thinking of becoming gladiator. what do you guys think about gladiator? or become mercenary better leh?

will my account be banned for using proxy to play dragon nest sea?

depends on your playstyle i guess.
mercenary will branch into destroyer or barbarian.
both of them are a bit similar now, but will change at 70 cap. skill wise, they have long cd and need to have proper sequence of attack if you don't want to run out of skills to use.

for gladiator, you don't have to rely on any of the magic skills and just focus on the physical tree itself because of the reduced cd. for pvp, you might want to add a level into moonlight splitter. has high damage and low cooldown for his skills. known for doing high damage when enemy's hit point is low (Finish Attack).

Useful party skills (for current level cap):
Warrior
- Highlander (when hp reaches 1 point, it will not go down for a few seconds)

Sword Master
- Provoking Slam (+% damage done to enemy)
- Brave (reduce enemy's super armor)

Mercenary
- Battle Howl (+dmg +crit for all party members)
- Howl Charging (+superarmor for all party members)
- Havoc Howl (reduce damage done by enemies)
- Taunting Howl (reduce damage done by enemies)
- Devitalizing Howl (remove buffs from enemies)

Barbarian
- Bone Crush (adds a fixed amount of damage whenever the enemy is hit for a few seconds. useful for multihit skills)

At 70 cap, there will be changes to the mercenary tree.

If you are sharing connection in your household, lots of people have no idea that P2P program has installed their services into their computer once they utilize it. Prior to drill into each of the PC, you need to look into your router and check for the signals, especially UDP data transfer.

If you found nothing there, try to trace route to Singapore ISP:

CMD -> "tracert starhub.com"

Check if there is any disconnection among the routes.

These are normal connectivity troubleshooting and hope these help.

Probably you may need to check on your Windows Event Viewer log to find out more. The log in DN normally captures minimal message due to the verbosity settings. Increasing it will not help since we have no idea what do those messages are about.

Log a case to Cherry Credit, this is the only way I can think off to resolve your issue

It depends on your service area. Let's say if you are located in Europe and you reach SEA server by using a proxy, then you'd be banned because there is already a service area (server) in Europe.

By using proxy to enhance the speed and reduce the hops to reach Singapore ISP shouldn't to be an issue.
