I borrowed from ptptn back during my time in Malaysia (2011) and graduated (2013), have taken a gap year to work and recently (2015) pursue my post-graduate studies abroad and will not be back until 2018.

What are the repercussions for doing so? I have already requested for 'deferment of payment' or 'penanguhan bayar-balik' two months ago. But no news so far, ptptn told me to wait for letter of approval but it's been two months!

The ptptn consultant told me that unless I have already started paying and have overdue monthly payment of more than 4-months only I will be blacklisted. But I can't take any risks because I don't want to be stuck at the airport for being 'blacklisted'. Anyone have similar situations or have insight regarding this?

Should I worry? Or should I start paying?
