would like to kno whether which mth is the best month to go for shopping sales n weather tat is nt hot? nov or dec? never go on the selected mth b4 so i'm nt sure.. bt definitely hotel n flight ticket will be steep sad.gif
*
christmas sales is mid december till february, that time is winter which is not hot. but then since it's winter, very much the thing that sell won't suits you

july to august is also a huge sales season, but that time is like summer, which is hot, hehe, but then item selling will be appropriate for us then.

Flying off to hk at 130 pm via cx today and will be staying at harbour grand kowloon. any nice place nearby for food? I was being informed that there is a shopping mall built in a ship/yacht by the pier just opposite the hotel.

why not try search the same hotel at different site like agoda, asiawebdirect and asiarooms
beware of agoda's number/price...based on my experience...the price they show u when u search and when u wanna pay is different(even after u calculate it)
*
yea, i also avoid using agoda liao . booking.come easier, straight see final price

is it true that Crystal Cabin customers do not need to queue?
from here http://www.np360.com.hk/en/cable-car/#crystal, it seems only private and sky lounge customers dont need to queue.
*
crystal cabin queues are shorter. where did you read it that crystal cabin customers no need queue anyway?

will be heading to hong kong end of next week and have plans to visit guangzhou and shengzhen, is there any visa issues that I should be aware of?

My friend from HK told me that I could obtain the visa to enter GuangZhou from HK so there is no need for me to apply for chinese visa here in Malaysia.

Anyone has similar experiences?
*
you need visa if you want to enter china (besides macau and HK). you can apply visa when you are there

but....pardon me, but i always don't understand why don't want to apply visa 1st in malaysia if it's a planned trip?

why must waste time and apply when you are on holiday?

Crsytal cabin cable car definetely longer queue..alot longer..
*
lol when i was there last year, crystal cabin queue was like 1/10 of the normal car

maybe a lot ppl hear crystal cabin short queue so all end up go there

QUOTE(mugenz @ Jul 2 2012, 09:00 PM)
Yea. The immigration dont just serve u only. Unless u have plenty of time to wait there. I heard the amount of ppl getting in and out is crazy. Think twice..
*
yea, immigration to enter HK is always crazy no matter from where

unless go super early la. that time i enter HK from luohu, shenzhen before 8am, super short queue for foreigners. but queue for mainland people already quite long d

so i still can't brain why ppl want to apply visa when arrive, unless it's a unplanned trip then diff case la
