The need for money(that's why people have to work) forces one to be productive/useful to others.
Like it or not, that's the way it is once a person is born. It is part of being in a social group. If a person is in the jungle alone, like it or not, you will have to hunt your own food day in and day out. It that person happens to like hunting, then he is lucky because he will be doing something he loves everyday and yet be able to satisfy his daily needs. If he dislike hunting, then too bad for him...either he does it or he starve and die.
But we as modern humans, being in an integrated environment, have more choices than just hunting. But the hard facts of life should tell us that whatever we do for most of our time, wheather we have passion for it or not, it should somehow bring us monetary return. Otherwise it would mean whatever you're doing, it is not useful enough for other people to pay for it. We would call those a hobby or pasttime.
Philosophy Will you quit your job if you are granted, an endless supply of money?
