Krogan is rare. Buy at least veteran pack to get it but the chances is small. Spectre give better chances.

Check it here.

Got my Krogan soldier via Spectre pack. It is a blast to play on Bronze because it is not like the other races who rely on weapons or power.
You just run up to enemies and melee or heavy melee them!!! biggrin.gif

On Silver have to be play abit more carefully because enemies hit harder and have more health.

sigh.

i want Quarian Engineer so bad.

*
Bro,

If you are looking to play Engineers, the Salarian one in my opinion is more fun.

Energy Drain to boost your shields, stun synthetics (ie Geth and Marauders)
Incinerate against armour and organic enemies
Decoy which is the icing on the cake because it takes the heat of the team when it attracts the enemies attention especially the Phantoms, Banshees and Brutes.

Equip with a pistol only and you can activate your powers approximately every 2 seconds. thumbup.gif

Never had problem connecting to EA server.

Just the lost credits issue. doh.gif

Had a closer look again, the missing credits are not actually missing. You get prompted that the transaction didn't go throught, but the next time you boot up, the money is gone but you will have new stuff in your inventory.

For example this has happened to me twice when I bought Spectre packs and was told that the transaction did not go through and the credits refunded to me. After rebooting, I find the credits are gone but I have new gold (rare) additions in the form of new races ( e.g. Asari Adept) and new weapons (e.g Carnifex).

Although I admit I have had fun with the multiplayer, my overall enjoyment with the game has been reduced because :

1. Single player and Multiplayer games freeze sometimes (ala Skyrim) and I have to hard reboot my PS3.
2. Game becomes extremely jerky in single player in some areas ( e.g Presidium Commons on the Citadel). I am using the disc version of the game.
3. Numerous times I can't logon to the multiplayer which requires a reboot to resolve.

The multiplayer bit is bearable but the single player stuff I can normally overlook but this time it is too bad to ignore.

End of rant... whistling.gif

Yup. Think about it, if the game, an rpg to boot, failed in its endings. Why on earth would i ever replay the game, *AGAIN*, if i know whatever different choice this time, wont matter in the end?

And why would i pay more money, for DLC that the ending for a game is less than satisfactory?

Plus, by mid april, there are other games out there.

Diablo 3 releases in May.

I haven't completed the single player yet and have been avoiding spoilers. But wow, it really must be a let down judging by the comments...

Because just hearing the Banshee scream is enough to put players on edge icon_question.gif

but when you see an Atlas it is no biggie... whistling.gif

the only way to stop banshee charge is someone keep shooting the banshee, which is easier say than done with double to triple f**king brutes on the final waves.
*
What I have learned from playing with others is that you don't camp at the evacuation site in the final wave, you actually camp somewhere further away. That draws the enemies away from your evacuation site.

When the clock ticks down to about 30 seconds left, you make a dash to the evacuation zone. Naturally you will need to communicate for this to work, hence at least one person has got to have a microphone to coordinate when and where to move.

It will not be free. EA is in the business to make money, they don't do charity work. tongue.gif

I don't think that is a forgone conclusion.

They are trying to remedy a situation due to the uproar from fans. Charging for this content will only be counterproductive and undermine any goodwill they are trying to build by agreeing to come up with the content in the first place...

Opened a Spectre Pack yesterday and got this :

QUOTE
Reset Powers

A reset can be performed on one character kit in the powers screen

Just like in trading card games and collections, there are the "Rare" cards that seem absolutely useless. I dunno what the rest of you think about this, but to me this one seems to fit in that "useless" category seeing as you can always start a new race within the same class OR start all over again once you promote the character.

guys, in mp,
...
do you guys get game lockup sometimes, which requires hard/soft reset on the PS3 ?

sometimes, i have glitch where my character will be like jumping and teleporting around the map rapidly and randomly, making gameplay impossible, have you guys experiences any of this?

somtimes, when i play, the sound effects noticeable start to disappear(eg, each shot fired has no sound) and all of a sudden, game lockup again..  sad.gif
*
The game is kinda buggy and I think everyone playing the MP will experience it here and there. Nothing much you can do about it except hope it doesn't happen on wave 10 or 11

mine it become from bad to worse ..  the jumping and teleporting became way too extreme that basically unplayaable..  vmad.gif

Could it be your internet connection? Sounds like you are experiencing some kinda lag. A bad internet connection doesnt explain the freezing but it kinda explains the teleporting and jumping you are experiencing.

If u are running other stuff like torrents or sharing the connection with family/friends, then that might be the cause.

Just started my mp.  Wow ... dont know its that fun ... just that im noob.

Is Jumbo Equip Pack good ? Or i should spam recruit pack, or save for veteran n spectre pack ?
*
Starting off go for the Recruit Packs to build up stock of medigel, rockets and survival packs. They will also give you the basic weapon upgrades and weapon attachments which you need to improve your survival in the game and also your enjoyment of the multiplayer experience.

After that, Spectre packs are the way to go methinks, because of a guaranteed GOLD item. Jumbo Packs are to stock up on medigel, rockets and other consumables which you don't need alot to start off with because you will be playing Bronze mainly.

I think by then you will have built a preference on what classes you like to play and what weapons you normally use. I generally only use 3 weapons (Carnifex or Predator; Widow or Mantis; and Geth Plasma Shotgun).

So good luck with your MP experience and to list out what I think will help that experience :

1. Doesn't matter who scores the most each round, because the points you earn is the total of everybody's score and not only your individual score. So no worries if you don't get too many kills or assist, important thing is the entire team survives wave 11 and you do your part.

2. I find medigel to be the rarest of all the consumable equipment, so don't burn them too early when you go down, wait for a team mate to revive you which is not too difficult if you stick together and also if the wave is ending and your team is in a comfortable position for you to auto revive at the end of the wave

3. Depending on your PS3 setup, use a headset (basic blutooth or USB wired good enough)
- Helps with coordination especially on SILVER/GOLD i.e. good to warn your team mates that a pair of Phantoms are creeping up on them while they are concentrating on taking out that ATLAS
- Helps you learn from other players as you share your experiences with MP
- Lastly, if your PS3 is setup in a common area in your house, it helps channel any foul language to a more private channel instead of coming out of your TV vmad.gif

so the best option for now is to turn off the sound on your tv so you don't have to hear dumb americans or honkies cursing themselves as if there's REAL money for winning in MP. tongue.gif

*
Perhaps they are upset because now they have to fork out REAL money to get the Spectre packs because the Krogan Soldier in their team keeps running off by himself to try and heavy melee everything in sight and getting killed bruce.gif

Thus making it difficult for the rest to finish the mission tongue.gif

That gungho?

My krogan soldier just run around with the group armed with one assault rifle. 2 second carnage recharge ftw. smile.gif
*
The heavy melee part only works on BRONZE. On SILVER/GOLD it will only serve to annoy your team mates because you keep dying. The Melee part on SILVER/GOLD I only use when the enemies get too close or if I'm sure I need one or 2 hits to take out the remaining health on an ATLAS, BANSHEE, BRUTE or PRIME.

I would play like what you suggested, either with Assault rifle of Geth Plasma Shotgun. Carnage doesn't seem so great to me though, often not even killing the basic enemy with 1 shot but I could be playing it wrongly or configuring it wrongly. Do you go for damage or armour piercing for your final Carnage upgrade?

Good game last night! thumbup.gif

Went easier than my previous experiences on GOLD. Besides all of us being kick ass playas, I think it was also down to:
- good communication
- a bigger map (Firebase Dagger)
- enemies were Cerberus
- and also 3 of us had Energy Drain and 2 of us with Decoy

We should do this more next time! rclxms.gif
