AFAIK, for HP loan (not house loan) it wont effect guarantor's CCRIS. No problem for future application. Unless the person didn't pay loan & blacklisted. Then it will appear into guarantor's CTOS.
If the bank asking to provide guarantor, it is an indication that that the person's CCRIS not good/high commitment/high margin compare to salary etc.
Bank also will ask guarantor if the person's salary is not fixed (salesman/freelance/offshore etc.)
Before u agree to be a guarantor, make sure he/she is able & willing to pay the debt.

No payment loan history meant good right? Scare to accept new kid?
*
Actually no payment recorded is consider as like "fresh paper", so bank unable to identify whether or not you are in good payment.

Therefore, with payment history with good payment is important when you applying loan (car/Housing)

Do you guys normally sign the Loan agreement before the car stock is secured for u? Some SA not sure when to get the stock but suggest to sign the agreement first
*
My scenario totally different, SA said no need rush to apply loan first before knowing the stock to be assigned

That's just too lenient , should just be 5yrs max.

House 15 years max...

If you need more  time to pay off  that means you do not qualify!...
*
Depend on individual, I will always go to max like 9 years, if you can earn the money higher than the Bank interest, then why not?

Max 9 years not meant you are not qualify, you know what is your financial condition right, don’t need to justify people, you could disagree the statement but I just calculate at your own that is good enough I would say

My question is how will customer be informed of loan approval. Will the banker inform customer directly or salesperson will inform customer instead?

And loan application was submitted by salesperson to bank. Not possible for bank submit to itself without a 3rd party.
*
If you see "Pending Acceptance by Customer" in your eCCRIS, mean loan is approved or for those who don't have ccris account, they can ask banker or direct call bank

I would say banker should keep applicant informed, some really did a good job, some seem like don't care. From my experience, I check myself faster
