they say HLB now offer the best rate for new car  in market < 2.6% ... true?
*
not sure how true is this but based on the reply above, they tend to offer lower amount of loan

I applied for 44k for 7 years (car price total 51k) last thursday, today agent call back ask me whether willing to take 80% loan is which is around 40k doh.gif otherwise have to get guarantor

my agent help me to appeal now but if still same I'll just apply other banks

QUOTE(mushigen @ Jun 5 2018, 10:59 AM)
Let's say I book Car A from Showroom A, and at the same time book Car B from Showroom B because I try to secure a new car before SST kicks in. Car A and Car B are quite close in selling prices and the estimated delivery is July/Aug - not guaranteed.

Question: I apply loan for Car A through the bank officer recommended by Car A SA. Can I use the loan to finance Car B if I decide to buy Car B instead?
Q2:
*
dont think its possible, when you submit your loan application you need to submit your VSO (Vehicle Sales Order) from your SA as well. To get a loan for Car B you need the VSO from SA B

interesting to know the outcome of your application..wanna see if the ctos score really help in applying for loans and give better interest rate
*
my ctos score is 729, but granted I'm only a fresh grad who just started working for 6 months, no other loans except a credit card with 6k limit

Apply loan for 80k but at the end approve 71.5k from.hlb 9 years 2.6%
Wonder why like this ? Or hlb quite strict ? Like public bank and Maybank is more easy to get full?
Or others bank is more easy?
*
tell your agent to appeal, maybe try 78 or 79k

if still same then just go other banks

Do you guys normally sign the Loan agreement before the car stock is secured for u? Some SA not sure when to get the stock but suggest to sign the agreement first
*
no harms signing if you agree with the loan rate and most importantly trust your SA

you won't be paying your instalments until you receive your car

Getting a new Persona with 40k loan x 7 years
A lot of SAs quote me between 3.1-3.2%

Is it possible to get lower?
*
local car seldom can get below 3%, considered lucky to even get 2.8 or 2.9

No wonder.
Lower rate due to green financing.

Does it applies to normal hybrids as well or only PHEV and EV?

CX30 High+ Premium

148k 7 years

PBB - 2.41%
HLB - 2.41%
Muamalat - 2.5%

PBB and HLB rate surprisingly low... was expecting Muamalat to be the lowest
