Fixed rate, new 2020 Saga

Likely not, everyone else seem to enjoy very good rates.
I applied to PBB and CIMB, PBB replied me 3 days late and didn't disclose rates after knowing I've signed with CIMB.

Salesperson and bank contact says its normal due to me borrowing less than 50% of car value, and only 7 year - if I went for the 5 year I wanted, it would go up even higher to 4.2 ~ 4.3...

Still not sure if that is really the case, but signed is signed already, no choice to accept the ~1k potential loss, but I'd appreciate it if any banker or people in the know can let me know if this normal or not.

Otherwise I feel very betrayed for being a patron of CIMB for over 7 years now hahaha, next time avoid them...

Yeah, a tiny bit regret now, felt signed under pressure, its my first time doing hire purchase and first time owning a car. I was so convinced that 4.0% is normal when I was on the spot.

I saw the hire purchase approval comments, internally I was initially evaluated at 3.87, but the final approval moved it to 4.0.
