How come Malaysia cannot be like the mid-east where a christian and a muslim can marry and both can still follow his/her religion (but muslim and buddhist cannot, buddhist must convert) huh?

QUOTE(neutral87 @ Feb 15 2012, 01:07 AM) basically, shariah law stated muslim can only marry muslim and ahli kitab, Like I said mid-east meaning arab peninsular. I was in Dubai for a few years. The impression i get is on some aspects we here are more muslim than the arabs!but i believe the latter option quite rare, only several countries allow like faidzal said.. because most islamic scholar claimed that the original teachings of the religion of the books already corrupted.. but not every country practices shariah law, so muslim and non-muslim marriages is possible.. few pages back someone mentioned muslim can have legal harem..haha to acquire one is already hard, let alone two.. unless u r seriously richfag like salih yaacob.. |
