yea..united loves the last seconds..but it doesn't always work

personally i think it was down to the formation..with giggs n jones in the middle..park on the left n young on the right..it looked much better when the subs came in n the players got to play in their natural positions

sigh, still can't see PJ be good in CB, was a bad call of him for last goal also, Smalling taken away was the start of even more horrible night. funniest moment is when Rafael made sure Muniain has his way clear and watching the goal. good thing is I saw that fluid game when nani young and ando are in the ground, let's wait for Clevz.

easy to pointing those questionable Bilbao's goals but I choose not to since we didn't deserve to get anything out of the game, last two games we rode our luck and DDG saved our ass, painful lose for Norwich and Tottenham, but tonight DDG's superb saves not enough to save us again, wondering when can we start winning properly again

It's not the defenders fault. They did blocked a lot while DDG saved a lot too. Well except the Rafael dosing off part lol. Midfield failed yet again. We don't need to worry right? Our CM is solid right? Blind denial fans. Pity front line and back line suffer when midfield is terrible. Immense pressure will eventually bring goals. Great performance from Ath.Bilbao(madrid torres <3). Judging by the sound of the stadium it was like an away match. Thank you DDG for making the scoreline tame. Easily could have been 5 or more.

Hope we can turn this around when we pay them a visit.

it wasn't our regular CM line-up and partnership so you can't justify from there, I see it was more towards the whole system of the team. and mind you, it wasn't Ath.Madrid, it was Athletic Bilbao.

Anyway, great credit to Bilbao and Bielsa.

other than evans and smalling(who left the field due to injury), i dont see anyone doing a good job in defending today...the only mistake from rafael is a disaster..u dont need me to tell you how bad our left side was today..phil jones basically didnt do well in either midfield or defender position...yes i agree that midfield lost their way today but the defense arent doing their job also...

i still have hope on turning the game..a 2-0 will do us good in spain..and with the good away form we have this season, i hope the lads can make it..

lol

89'
Evra didn't have his boot on properly and the ref has stopped the play as United went forward. And he's given a free-kick to Athletic for the boot being on the pitch.

90'
GOAL IKER MUNIAIN

90'
From the resulting odd free-kick, two defenders went for the same ball and fliched it on for De Marcos. His good shot was well saved by De Gea, Rafael was asleep and Muniain ghosted it and fired into the roof of the net.

I know it wasn't regular, but that is not a smart excuse judging by the performance from several games before. Midfield has low level of fluidity play hence the appearance of Rooney all over the map. Big oops.gif thanks for highlighting that mistake. Why the f*ck is Torres's old team haunting me...I secretly admire him when he was playing there...

we rode our lack against Norwich and Spurs SAF admitted that. DDG saved us, good defending didn't allow that much of threats to the goal, especially if it came easily like tonight. some chose to only admiring the GK but I choose to question the team's performance why they allowed those.

agree, we just can't play right with 4 wings in the field. So far Evans and Smalling partnership is convincing beside Evans-Ferdinand, if we put aside Vidic.
