page 90 @@", wow.
guys can i check with you, i realised that the SII randomly crashes, battery life is quite bad also, ive turned off wifi, gps, live wallpaper, still feel its quite low. and my gf was on the phone the other day, and the line just got cut off. when she check the phone, it switched to airplane mode, while on the call. is the OS that unstable? is there anything i cand o to solve all this issues? its kind of irritating. the phone is not rooted, modded, and no cracked apps or blackmarket stuff. |

QUOTE(erymanthus @ Feb 21 2012, 09:58 AM) That is not normal. I have been using SGS2 for close to 8 months and didn't face those problems you mentioned...other than battery life which is quite subjective....for my case it is acceptable... mine is G model. bought about a week or two ago. never did any mods. just install whatsapp, angry birds and few other normal apps. i guess im on stock rom. factory reset for after 2 weeks? What ROM are you on? Stock Rom? You can try Custom Roms or maybe you can consider doing a Factory Reset and start everything from scratch and monitor again. You can also install Titanium Backup Pro to Freeze some apps that you doesn't use to prolong battery life... If all else fails, buy a Yoobao Powerbank freeze apps that i dont use? cant i just close the apps, and clear the memory? |

QUOTE(erymanthus @ Feb 21 2012, 11:50 AM) The reported behaviour of your phone is not very normal, ie crashing, switching to Airplane Mode on its own etc.. original set bro. bought from samsung. bought 2 weeks ago..so should be the most current one ? ill ask my gf to check and reply hereIs yours an original set from SME or an AP set? If AP set, they may have flashed something or installed something extra. What is you ROM now? Check Settings/About Phone/Rom Version? Added on February 21, 2012, 2:19 pm QUOTE(Ic3pRInc3sSsIcA @ Feb 21 2012, 12:12 PM) ya my fren also facing crashes bt 1 one of my fren tht jst buy g-model recently said to me he using it wifout any prob ill check the firmware and let u guys know. i am not using a mem card yet. if have to factory reset a new phone, ill be quite dissapointed. ill see how this goes. ill try to do the rooting and custom rom. all in all, this is my 1st android, and so far things arent going very well. This post has been edited by Wira_lover: Feb 21 2012, 02:19 PM |

do you guys normally keep the :
background data on or off? auto sync - off or on? mine was checked on both. could this be the cause of severe battery drain ? |
