i notice a lot of you all waiting for that ICS update. when i read just now, some mentioned its just an update for a nicer UI is it? any other reason?

guys can i check with you, i realised that the SII randomly crashes, battery life is quite bad also, ive turned off wifi, gps, live wallpaper, still feel its quite low. and my gf was on the phone the other day, and the line just got cut off. when she check the phone, it switched to airplane mode, while on the call. is the OS that unstable? is there anything i cand o to solve all this issues? its kind of irritating. the phone is not rooted, modded, and no cracked apps or blackmarket stuff.

mine is G model. bought about a week or two ago. never did any mods. just install whatsapp, angry birds and few other normal apps. i guess im on stock rom. factory reset for after 2 weeks?

freeze apps that i dont use? cant i just close the apps, and clear the memory?

original set bro. bought from samsung. bought 2 weeks ago..so should be the most current one ? ill ask my gf to check and reply here

Added on February 21, 2012, 2:19 pmill check the firmware and let u guys know. i am not using a mem card yet. if have to factory reset a new phone, ill be quite dissapointed. ill see how this goes. ill try to do the rooting and custom rom. all in all, this is my 1st android, and so far things arent going very well.

guys my S2.. with airplane mode on, no wifi, no network, no data, no live wallpaper,exit all apps, lost 13% battery in standby mode when i went to sleep at 11.30pm-6.30am. is this normal?

no blackmarket apps, ori ROM, not rooted etc. what might be the issue? what can be draining my battery?

mine was checked on both. could this be the cause of severe battery drain ?

im currently on 2.3.3 gingerbread. and a quick search on google popped up saying its known for batteryd rain issues.

the newest is 2.3.6 right? its advisable to update?

thanks guys just wanna make sure its advisable. cause unlike apple, we stay away from updates until its "safe" for jb thether/unthether etc.
