After force closing, the camera app should start as per normal.

No idea why it FC in the first place though. Maybe take hanky panky pics it bth fc. ROFL

Jokes aside, test it longer and see if this issue crops up.
If it happens once, you can write it off as software conflict.
But if happens many times, you can slowly find out why it happens by checking out what apps are running when the FC happens.

Are you using SD card?

Those who said that cracked apps caused instability said because they have paid for the apps while others which used pirated apps did not pay for the apps... So they had to side themselves, after all they paid right??

If you read Benny's post on the first page, it states there there are no direct evidence of crashing when installing cracked apps...

And btw the camera crashing is not due to cracked apps, it's a bug in S2 G version...

And I want to say: For the sake of this thread, please don't use PIRATED apps..

 

crack apps sometimes cause the instability of the apps itself if not the phone.
Thats why FC sometimes happen when use crack apps.

if you are a G user, ROOT + custom ROM is quite crucial. More stability if you are on custom ROM

No worries buddy. We are here to share and learn. Credits are not important as we all here as a family.
I see more pro's and hardly any cons if you are G user. No reason not to get the custom ROM. Well downside I can foresee is loosing your warranty if you root. However some users has reported that warranty claim was done even while the phone being rooted

It depends actually, some custom ROM are rock stable than stock ROM.

some custom ROM are not (such as CM9), but  u have may choice of ROM to play with only if u use non G set.

But urs is G set. not many custom ROM to play with.

as long as u dont install cracked apps and only app from trusted developer, anti virus is not needed. but its up to you.
