Heard that v6 is not that stable and having GPS Problem using the default kernel

Haiz. Now you more rajin flashing than me. I am lazy to flash, still on turkbey 32 for few weeks already. I maybe wait until official ICS out only change.

Turkbey roms are stable. If you like the theme can stay long with it.

I meant the ROM list compared with a dedicated section for SGH i777.... those roms were said easily to be ported over from the same devs who cooked roms for original sgs2 too...

Take care what you wipe. Wipe data (= factory reset) and cache is the same as the one on the outside. Wipe system will wipe off your rom, so you will have no rom to boot into if you restart. So make sure your zip file is ready to flash. Do not wipe boot, sd or emmc.

Frankly I have never wipe system before and have had no issue.

Only do that if your new ROM is giving your issues like FC or instability. After the full wipe dont forget to flash back the ROM zip file or else the phone will have no OS to boot into.
