How to update Google Map? There's no app for it in the Android Market(G version) and can't even update from the app itself!
*
what I do is google for it on phone browser. Click on the market link. then update icon_rolleyes.gif

Currently on checkrom + redphill now, does anyone have svnet and svnet-dormancy wakelocks in BBS? They're at the top of my kernel wakelock list, any solution?
*

red pill kernel is good in battery life?
currently on siyah 2.6.12
*
need to try it yourself.
for me great batt life if data/wifi off.
just so so with it on.

not much different from siyah. I just like the redpill touch recovery better then siyah recovery ui.
but might be going back to siyah once updated to CR v6.

Saw the screenies for CRv6, and it looks good until the status bar is pulled down...

Now I wish there is an ICS theme for LA4 and that JKay version
*
What you don't like about it? I thought people are loving the swipe to remove thingy.

I like the stuff, just not the colours. Much prefer the ICS theme over the default grey and green one. I started to hate the Samsung colour scheme when I saw even the cheapest Waves when the series was just launched had the same colours. Green and black is not bad, but green and grey is like Rebecca Black  tongue.gif

Just checked out the Check ROM v6 screen shots... It looks very plain and normal like Stock ROM.... Hmm.. How come some of you are so excited? .. Am I missing something?

Sorry, I have not tried Check ROM before.
*
That's how CheckROM are. Close to stock. They let user decide how to customize.

I actually leave my device connected to wifi. But then again overnight I plug it in
*
it would be suitable for me as I'm lazy to turn on/off the data/wifi. always left it on 24/7.

Hey, NEAK is a good kernel actually (it's based off of Siyah without the Wifi bug). It's a good alternative for one thing.

P.S. You're stalking my posts? :S tongue.gif wink.gif
*
hehe.. not stalking. stumble upon tongue.gif was checking the comments on NEAK. No problem using it with your script?

I already have it for bolt_scripts/cpugputune.

Take note that you need to tune it yourself. Or you can use Voltage Control to do it.
*
do I need to tweak/tune the voltage to get good battery life? really have no idea what/how to tweak sweat.gif

Download voltage control, user friendly interface.

And in terms of manually deciding what suits you, can read pika's thread on how to do it right/test
*
LOL.. read pika thread a couple of time already. every time my mind end up . . . . . . . . .

By the way, pikachu.

Just have one thing to ask about your tweak. Before i do your tweaks and two thing i notice missing.

The settings of the message tones and notification bar. The notification bar come up again after reboot.

What say you? Did i miss out something  smile.gif
*
same thing happen to me first time I flash the script. after reboot no problem. happen one time only.
