The 7 days is not warranty claim period la. It is cooling off period, not many retailers will offer such cooling off period. Even if the product is ok and you dont like it you can exchange for cash or something else.

They dont make the kettle just like retailers they only sell. It is the manufacturer that provides the warranty. So when you buy a product make sure after sales service of the manufacturer or agent is available at your place.
