hi, i m new here,
i m staying at Batu Caves ,the Taman Bidara (Just Beside Selayang Hospital)

Really upset for those ISP provider, mad.gif
TMnet said More there 5km from Exchange ,have to test line ....subcride 2 years, aledi report, then 3 months no body come to test line.
Jaring Wired said no exchange because they are depend on TMnet.

My neighbour Garden,(sebelah taman no more then 0.5km)aledi used the Tm streamyx 1 year+,then the flat behind my house also used the Tm streamyx 1 year+. vmad.gif

So I try to Eb.net.my
also waiting 1 month no respond shakehead.gif

So anyone can give me some suggestion,
else i m thinking to use Digi Edge services.

DiGi EDGE or Maxis 3G might work. I heard Jaring Wireless is also able to pickup some weak singals over there (might or might not work)

It depends , my place got RTDSLAM installed..Wow , but my place says I got streamyx installed , and vola..they said the signal is too weak (wtf.. 0.5km also signal can come weak)

I suggest you to use DiGi EDGElah...quite fast..near broadband speed..At least can online 24/7

yes , both of them are 3G/EDGE phone..Peoplee say choose Celcom 3G , at least you can torrent and its faster....But EDGE is okay , DiGi gives you private IP (i'm not sure about celcom)...So in long term , Celcom 3G is better for you , but if you're looking something cheaper , you can use DiGi EDGE..(my area can get around 100Kbps..sorry I dont use Celcom 3G...Maxis 3G is not covered in my area)...But I heard people are getting good speeds...

Sorry wrong spelling
No Jaring wireless, no Jaring wired cover at my area.

Tmnut ,hopeless at my area...
unless buy another house and shirf

for celcom 3G, i found the map, which can cover my area.
but very expensive,
rm 50 register rm 30 monthly services
rm 150 every month.
1st 3 month free
following month rm 30 + rm 150 =rm 180

digi Edge
rm 20 monthly services
rm 99 per month
follwong half year 50%
1st 6 month rm 20 + rm 49 =rm 69
after 6 month rm 20 + rm 99 = rm 119

go check at DiGi Area..now thtere are many areas which supports EDGE

BTW , its better for you to EDGE instead of dial-up..At least you can surf unlllimited..think about that

dial-up = limited time

no its not possible to share via a router , (switch yeah)

you need a pc 24/7 , which will act as a server/dhcp and nat and your router will act as switch , if it has wifi , it will be an ap..

so from your PC , other pcs can acesss the internet , might be a little bit slower , but does the job !

thats how i use to share the connection...
