Becareful when buying properties in Malaysia. I kenalah because i didn't listen to my QS friend who regretted buying their property in Puchong Jaya.
I bought properties from IOI in South Puchong... regret like hell. They will delay until your warranty gone. and BEWARE, if you need responsible developer, buy from YTL or Sunrise.
This is not only one unit but my neighbor also has the very same problem. Answer from IOI was ..lu makan sendiri..warranty over
Sure?? I bought 2 property from IOI located in Puchong since 2005. So far so good..
I bought three, one in Puchong Jaya (bad quality but no major problem), Puchong South (semi-D very bad finished and alarm/air cond piping & wiring problem, roof leaking), Puchong South (alarm not working, air cond wiring use cheap china - need to change, roof leaking, toilet leaking - 2 toilets, DB box leaking and short circuit (more than 4 units have this problem).
I am staying Puteri Palma 2, lots of problems with the unit. Leaking from upstairs, and lots of electrical problems, probably either due to poor wiring or from the leaks. I spoke to maintenance worker, said some basement car parks wet due to leaks from units above. Maintenance is high bcos units are large, walls get painted, yet broken things take long time to fix, like keycard access, security doors, lift etc. Apart from scenery (golf course view), large unit, I am quite wary of the quality of Ioi projects.
I went to apartments near IOI City Mall few years ago. UNit quite large with over 2,000sqft built-up selling around RM 400-500k, cant remember. Luckily i didn't invest there.
