Worth buying the 1.8 cvt? Resale value will drop after phase out?
*
of course worth it..but 2.0 more worth it.

if resale value is what u consider, u are in the wrong thread, the city and vios would be better for u. smile.gif

Inspira Accident

This accident happened at Gambang. What do u think about this accident?
*
the chassis did what it supposed to do. the rear took the brunt of the damage and the roof didnt collaps. should the passenger wear safety belt, i think he should be alright.

but again, milo tin ma

if there is no severe front impact, it wont deploy.. our airbag uses a impact sensor, which is safer and better

thanks man.

as a Proton management basher.
visually inspecting the car, save to say it is all made in Japan as far as engineering is concerned.

the engine, air conditioning compressor, radiator, radiator fan, etc. all is Made in Japan so far. I think people choosing Vios or City over Inspira because "its a Proton" is ignorant or they hate money.

in any case.. convincing my parents to get one because for the price the car is an absolute winner. If Myvi is good value, the Inspira is a steal. Indeed, only the smart guys get it. The ignorant and stupid will say those who buy Proton Inspira are silly.

Comparing the Inspira to the other Proton cars, really day and night, the Proton Inspira is so much more superior, as though its a Porsche (the Inspira) compared to Volkswagen (all other Proton)
*
the atf cooler is local product though. tongue.gif

despite being a C segment car, the maintenance is even cheaper than that of B segment cars, insight, city and vios. not to mention altis and civic yet.

this proves that we are cheapskate. thumbup.gif

does anyone know how much is a spark plug for our engine?
*
rm48.33 X 4pcs..from mitsu..despite the part number MN16323. MN usually for proton parts, but for this, it is mitsu part

it is still one of the cheapest iridium plugs by manufacturers by a large amount...another cheapskate fun fact

another info, mitsu sells them at RM 60.82 per pc.

maybe we can help lancer owners GB from proton and supply them thumbup.gif

okay, have been using philips hid for 3 days now.

can only conclude that our headlights arent that good for HIDs.

for whatever reason, it seems like the light throw is lower compared to halogen bulbs.

HID

philips xp

ignore the colour, cuz the camera white balance screwed it up.

in terms of colour, the 4200K HID looks almost like normal headlights.

as u can see above, the HID's highest intensity is slightly below the cut off point as compared to the halogen, the cut off point intensity relatively better.

with ori headlamps, the halogen still gives a better light throw but the HID gives a better intenstiy.

solution to this, get EVO X projectors. tongue.gif
