I've just graduated from SPM and am planning to pursue ACCA and also CFA. I would like to know which university over the world is well renowned and recommended for those courses?

There is no university that is renowned for CFA and ACCA. There are "tuition providers" that are good for these courses, but not well renowned in the world. ACCA and CFA are professional qualifications. Normally you would need to have a degree to sit for ACCA and CFA, though ACCA you get to skip the degree requirement and a little papers through the CAT and ACCA Fundamental papers.

In Malaysia,  I think sunway n tarc have an platinum status in ACCA tt ?

I know Sunway has it. Not sure about Tarc.

So are u sure u are going to take CFA after ACCA? I'm thinking of it too...but will just decide after ACCA I think...

in malaysia, the famous tuition providers for ACCA are Sunway, Kasturi and TARC. Out fo these 3, only Sunway and Kasturi also provides CFA programme.

If you want to have a university campus environment, go for sunway. If cost is a factor, den go for Kasturi. However, Sunway is have some sort of good relationship with audit firms and i've heard investment banks and as such may be able to assit you with placement in investment banks. Not to mention, the library is also bigger and more complete as as sunway student, you can access monash library too (which means, you cna have access to books related to investment banking, very important to have deep knowledge in this field if you wanna join ib as a fresh out of college). And there are much more curricular activities to join in Sunway which is also important in applying to IBs.

What I know is, the programme director got a close working relatioship with the HR heads of quite a lot of local IB as they send their students to sunway for classes. Not to mentioned, many of alumni from the ACCA programme have moved to Ib from audit field.

About the books. Yea. there are many book about the investment field that you borrowed and read. Bear in mind, acca and cfa just provide a certification on the threshold knowledge, there're still much to learn. depending on which company's interview u go to, some of them asked questions of which are quite technical as they're looking for candidates that have job fit. This is especially the case if you apply directly yo the dept u like as in CF, research etc etc without going through a general management trainee programme.

You don't have a degree, forget about CFA unless you graduated with a degree first.

Ya, this I know. I mean, which tuition provider all over the world should I go for those professional qualifications when I achieve all the entry requirement.
