Added on March 18, 2012, 11:47 pmthey deserved it man. look at how they play la.. their unity and individual skills are good.

Added on March 18, 2012, 11:49 pmour hook passes are so terrible to be honest, u guys witnessed it.

If we play like this against Man City, I don't think we can get shots on target.

Torres could've dumped in a hattrick, but he didn't..... now Sturridge, look at that. That is Chelsea.

but these 2 played different ways~

Correct.

Not advisable to put 2 tigers in a jungle, if you get what I mean.

Torres is a burst of speed that can really crack opponents' defense from the midfield with an abundance of options to bury the ball into the net or service is around the flankers for finishing.

Whereas Drogba is the kind of guy who you want to be around at the final third with his quick turnover and crazy shooting. And Drogba isn't 'The Sturridge' lol, he spray assists around, much like Torres.

To utilize them both means we need to have 2 tempos in the pitch, which is tricky at times but beneficial in a sense where you have dynamic plans into the system.

For Man City match, I do prefer Drogba instead of Torres as Man City play deep defense line.

Lets win this guys! flex.gif

and pls .. i dun wan meireless to play ..
the record shows.. everytime he plays .. chelsea percentage of not winning is very high .. to me, he doesnt do enough .. both attacking/defending..  to me, he is a weak link... no creativity, no shooting, no goals, no danger.. no defending power..
wtf.. is he even on the field??..
oh .. the goal he scored.. that day in FaCup... wow, the shot sucks.. its like a penalty shot.. and he shot it right in the center, with barely enough strenght.. towards the center of the goal, any better gk ..would have saved that...
Sorry, he is not my type of player.. Ramires or Essien anytime, MIKEL anytime.. b4 him .. PLS DUN LET Meireles PLAY..
*
I thought Meireles was fine last night. Some errors here and there, but at crucial time, he did well. And to bag 2 assists, isn't something small.

His goal, looked as if its a simple straight shot, but the moment Torres passed it to him, the GK already swayed to the other side, hence he targeted the spot? if too cornered, the defender might have saved the shot/off target?

Just my opinion as well. ^^

sturridge is having a spell of goalless run too. correct me if i'm wrong but the last time he scored (in epl is vs spurs back in december) & (fa vs birmingham)
he need to buck up his mind & mentality
team > individual.

if u ask me the only players who's desperate to score is ONLY torres rite now.
becoz

1. he dun score goals
2. his price tag
and to see him assist so many goals this season (not hide the fact his confidence oso very low last time to shoot) and last nite for meireles is just how a good player mentality shud be. it's easy for him to be selfish on that 5th goal but he always made it simple. team first.

and not forgetting the fact that the team become a lilbit complacent towards leicester last nite. next match is obviously a better opposition.i'm afraid his selfishness can cost the team.

hope RDM can give him some hard talk. he can miss the euro12 flight if he cont of his selfishness > team.

p/s i think drogba oso sometimes selfish..but we never brand him on that label. not because his number of goals (less than 10 only this season) but  because of his overall contribution.

Rather, have you ever thought that all the players might have "something" under their jersey leh...

*cough* Looking at how Sturridge played last night, he macam ada something SO big under his shirt to show after a goal?
