this comment is dedicated for sturridge..
why is it so hard for you to return the favor for others that create the chance for you? torres kept finding you whenever you are available but what have you done in return? you are a good player but a single player cannot define a game. this is a team game so, do not be so greedy! i hope the team can play like this whenever torres play. i respect drogba's ambition to stay so, we must treat them differently. first time balls for torres as for drogba, he don't mind people to take the extra touches. although this is a game against a lesser team, but it justified all my comment (at least to myself) that a change in gameplay can effect how torres perform. next is 2 hard games for us. hopefully we can get something out from it. |

yup.. i must agree that both drogba and torres play differently. it is like beauty and the beast and you should know which one is which. in big games, i think it is best if drogba start and torres should rebuild his confidence step by step. it will be disastrous if he is red carded again in the next game hehe
somehow, i start to like how kalou play. he is placed there so that mata can sit just behind the striker. and thus giving meireless more freedom in the midfield. this guy is bad at defending so why place him at CDM before this.. play the game to the player's strength and you'll start to see magic on the pitch. |

QUOTE(Da-heck @ Mar 19 2012, 11:42 AM) so, its a simple question now .. meireless is the same case as torres imo.. good player but not played to his strength. this guy was never a DM at liverpool. he always play behind gerrard and in front of lucas/mascherano. he was liverpool best player of the season before we bought him.. last night game was awesome because he was placed at his favoured position. and i don't think he can play well with lampard. same case during early stage of lampard-ballack combo..for man c .. Drogba or Torres for starting line up .. for me, Drogss.. all the way for 90 mins.. sturridge to start game.. torres to sub him out at 60min.. give him 30 last min of the game.. why??. becoz .. drogs.. is a real poacher in front of goal.... he is so damn dangerous ... ohhh not forgetting the killer free kicks.. torres.. yes 1 very gg.. plus assist.. but we need striker who is a little selffish sometimes.. must score more goals compared to assist.. sorry, the number in the game shows.... torres, doesnt shoot much ..but he does assist a lot.. and obviously, we need more goals from player of his quality rather than assists ... ... Personal opinion only: and pls .. i dun wan meireless to play .. the record shows.. everytime he plays .. chelsea percentage of not winning is very high .. to me, he doesnt do enough .. both attacking/defending.. to me, he is a weak link... no creativity, no shooting, no goals, no danger.. no defending power.. wtf.. is he even on the field??.. oh .. the goal he scored.. that day in FaCup... wow, the shot sucks.. its like a penalty shot.. and he shot it right in the center, with barely enough strenght.. towards the center of the goal, any better gk ..would have saved that... Sorry, he is not my type of player.. Ramires or Essien anytime, MIKEL anytime.. b4 him .. PLS DUN LET Meireles PLAY.. |

watched the game and i believe city deserved the winner. they really put up a lot of effort to win the game and really came close on numerous occasion especially thru nasri. quite surprise to see how silva play. i always thought he is the main source of creativity but he had a rather quite game last night.
we are a bit unlucky with the forced substitution on iva for bosingwa. hope iva is not badly injured. like i said before, i prefer drogba to start rather than torres because city is a very very physical team. even without kompany, kolo toure and richards can brush anything that came their way. this is strengthen even more with the presence of de jong and yaya toure at the middle. therefore, the selection of torres is not a good one. but still, his presence is there since he did draw around 2-3 defenders to him when he got the ball. sadly, nobody utilize the spaces he created. as for essein, i think this guy cannot perform so well whenever he is subbbed in. the reason is he will got only a short time to adapt to the game and to exert his influence. i'll rather have him instead of ramires. simply because in football, i would prefer an all rounder rather than somebody who can only be useful because of his stamina (which essein also got) and counter-attacking purpose. there is no need to list down what essein can do compared to ramires. both are good but i think essein deserved the starting line-up. if not because of the forced substitution, i also think that both mata and lampard should not finish the 90 minutes. at least either one of them should be substituted. both are pretty clueless with mata being brushed aside by zabaleta on numerous occasion. quite satisfy with the game last night. this is the first lose for rdm and i hope it will make him even stronger in managing the team. and for cahill+luiz, both of you are awesome! |

1- it is now apparent that we are so relying on mata's creativity. when he is on fire, at least out attacking play look fluent. when he is not, this is the result. clueless. i pass you.. you pass me back, and lets pass to the defender. let them make the run..
2- thank god bosingwa (and luiz) was not raped by bale. at least they do a decent job in their defensive duty. 3- motm is cahill. damn.. he is awesome for the 7m price tag! really fast to recover. 4- we deserved the draw. we have not done enough and still got away with one point. at least got something rather than nothing haha |
