[/quote] in comes gaizka toquero http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjJCo7AMbk8 Added on February 28, 2012, 6:25 pmnow everyone knows about pepe, as a real madrid fan, i wouldnt want to speak bad about him..... but sergio ramos, i am getting a hint that he could potentially turn into a monster like pepe........that troubles me a lot......he is competitive for sure, but i have seen many a time now he's sneaked in a kick or some sorts at rival players..... but he is the best central defender i have seen so far, except for that rayo game This post has been edited by kevraul: Feb 28 2012, 06:25 PM |

anyone saw ronaldo tripped higuain when higuain has already rounded the keeper and ready to slot in with his left foot?
no goal, but ronaldo could still throw a fit after tripping higuain. despicable. for a moment, i thought the relationship between them will turn sour. then ronaldo provided the assist for higuain to score, and then embraced. they didnt when ronaldo scored the free kick right? some cracks maybe? |

QUOTE(GrandElf @ Apr 2 2012, 09:33 AM) the funny part is some comment(from footytube highlight) made by ronaldo fanboy saying that it was totally higuain fault for blocking ronaldo to score after they assume higuain was actually passing the ball to ronaldo instead of himself rounding the goalkeeper.....LOL higuain's fault? that is blasphemy, i say. ronaldo sneaked behind gonzalo hoping for an easy steal. higuain did all the hard work, and tripped by the goal machine ronaldo, who in this case, happened to just take everybody out including his own team mate. but those 3 goals were superb. benzema's strike was like a stunner, i didnt know it went in until he started celebrating. but comparing it van basten's goal was unfair, the dutch master struck his with all the magic he knows. mourinho claims it was out this world, agreed, but the best was still zidane's volley in the champion's league final. ronaldo's strike was amazing too. its amazing how he strikes the ball. but i would say it was a bit fortuitous too. higuain's chip was brilliant. reminiscent of the old days when raul played. of course, raul's chips were always over the goalie instead of beside the goalie. |

what is your take on the game tonight? any chance that 2 penalties will be awarded to us?
to be honest, real madrid's league games do see a lot of penalties awarded too. |

2nd leg against bayern will be a good game.......expect real madrid to go out attacking like nobody's business....
on the other hand, judging by the game last night, the game against barcelona this saturday is all but lost.............defending was horrendous especially coentrao in the last minute. he does have the tendency to tackle but come up with nothing. but it was not all his fault, as marcelo was brought in to keep lahm occupied but failed at that in the last minute. sergio ramos is a bit frustrating for me. he was all class when first switched to centre back, but not anymore. the wings on this bayern team is really really good. that said, real madrid were lethargic against their wings, and they must improve in the 2nd leg, which i am sure they will. Added on April 18, 2012, 1:17 pmxabi alonso is loop hole for oppositions to exploit too, in my opinion..... interesting article: http://www.thefootballramble.com/blog/entr...res-madrid-fade This post has been edited by kevraul: Apr 18 2012, 01:17 PM |

QUOTE(FLampard @ Apr 18 2012, 03:39 PM) yo i watched the game yesterday ...i dunno if u feel the way i am but i realise real madrid doesnt play very fluent against better teams. a lot of times they just try to "force" it in........previously i watched against barcelona...also same. and i realise sergio ramos and pepe are somewhat hot tempered that always cause them to lose concentration. i thought makelele could turn better and not as sluggish. xabi's mobility, or should i say agility, is very limited. a bit like andrea pirlo, but pirlo is a class act now in juventus. Added on April 18, 2012, 3:40 pm when jose mourinho was at chelsea......they said the same thing about makelele... i hope you lot can rough up uefalona tonight, make things easier for real madrid in the classico. in return, we can rough them up in the weekend to your advantage in the chelsea vs uefalona 2nd leg...... and if real madrid is trumped by bayern in the 2nd leg, you lot have my support/blessing/prayers to screw them too in the final....... Added on April 18, 2012, 4:19 pm QUOTE(hans7474 @ Apr 18 2012, 03:49 PM) put in kaka la..theres a big gap between alonso n ronaldo, thats where u need kaka to link up..last night they keep give a long ball which is 80% useless...haizzz that is right........instead of ozil. ozil have the tendency to go sideways while i think kaka is more goalwardsThis post has been edited by kevraul: Apr 18 2012, 04:19 PM |

it was a great game yesterday......barca with dominance in possession, real madrid with efficiency in attacks and defence.
could have been 3-1 had ronaldo scored with that easy tap in in the last minutes. xavi says they know how to lose.....clearly, he doesnt know, does he? |

him and mourinho, yes, probably mourinho started the provocations.......and manolo retorted.....but that is football.....you cant mix football and personal stuffs together....
outside of football, mourinho and manolo were friends....manolo even praised mourinho for his training methods and visited madrid's training sessions..... my respect goes to the guy though, because he fully accepts the part and parcel of football world while outside the football sphere, his relationship with mourinho says it all RIP |

u should have seen the class act from puyol. pique picked up a lighter on the pitch wanting to complain to the ref, puyol just took it off pique's hand and threw it away. no problems. one of the moments of the match.
the other was the embrace between puyol and khedira. captain wise, if you ask me, i thought it should be xabi alonso. and diego lopez wasn't convincing enough |

i just dont get it. barca can never accept a lost against real madrid graciously. or inter for that matter. there has got to be fracas around it. the argument was for a penalty, fine. it was a 50-50 thing in my opinion, depending on the line of sight of the referee. i can understand if it was given, and i can also understand if it's not given (i'd prefer the latter, of course). but to hound the referee like they did, especially coming from iniesta when the game was still on going says a lot to their attitude.
another of barca's charges who somehow can always churn up unsporting and sore loser kind of remarks is xavi. you only have to read his lines in the media to realize he is such sore loser. with this, i am not saying madrid players are angels. i, for one, do not prefer pepe to play for madrid, but he has stuffs to contribute to madrid. 2/3 great games played in this crucial 3 part story. if madrid thinks that with these 2 performance man utd will run scared, they will sorely be mistaken and we could be in for despair. madrid can counter attack very well, but give them the ball and they will definitely struggle to break an organized defense. we'll just have to wait and see what happens. my feeling is that shots will rain from the outside on man utd goal. definitely a handball in my opinion, and i agree with angel of deth. but it is easy to miss. i didnt see it at first too, and commentators said nothing of that incident. i sensed some sort of a bias.
the red card, i can also understand why it was given. high boot, not as bad as the common assault which de jong executed, but it was dangerous play. but having unintentionally planted the studs into alvaro and then have the cheek to pretend to be injured is just pure silly. i have suspected real madrid would have a tough time with possession and cracking open defenses, unless of course when they counter attack. i'd predicted many shots from outside the area due to this but man utd must be credited for limiting real madrid chances from outside as well. but real madrid certainly made the most of the situation when nani was sent off. very gutsy for mourinho to take off arbeloa and put on modric. jose should be commended for that. you see how the game changed. and just before the sending off, mourinho was about to bring in benzema, you can deduce that he was tactically aware and astute. pepe then came on for ozil, who had a quiet game. didnt do much with the ball partly due to man utd's defense. even with that change, real madrid could not maintain shape and let man utd attack with 10 men. it's probably a bit harder to play 10 men and against a team who need to chase for a result. the best team didnt win comment was classic. he didnt say the "better" team won but the "best". i dont believe mou's statements are as simple as that. he measures everything he says and does. do your own interpretation on that. just brilliant. |
