if the kitchen is just stand alone.. meaning no extension to your first floor... then normal foundation is alright.... if you;re planning to extend the 1st floor rooms same as the kitchen then you need to pile
nop. I dun plan to extend my 1st flood. so normal pillar will do? the contractor said will need to do digging and rebuild the pile.

Check my profile brother, no construction work or wet work to be done as we are not contractor but we are manufacturing furniture & all kind of carpentry works. I've done quite a number of interior works as i've seen alot of customer pushing & squeezing the contrator until to the maximum. thus in the end job live it hanging, no quality, late delivery, arguement & most commonly is variation order occur (V/O) during progress & etc. And yet customer still expecting more from the contractor discount, high end material, design, aft sales service, retention 5-10%, responsibilty & so on. Contractor also got overhead.
The most important is on the 1st agreement, again quality wise ???
Ya, I understand that, if I keep on demand discount from the contractor. end-up bad quality workmanship. That y I'm not always request more discount from the contractor. Once I see the particular section is over my budget I just drop it instead of ask more discount.
