hi guys. what is the battery like with the XE? normal use, heavy use, standby.

can anybody share with me? Thinking of getting this phone~

if with stock rom, u can consider yourself lucky if u can survive a day with moderate usage.

any idea how to get rid of double entries in the ringtone selection menu?, I'm asking because after I pasted ringtones, alarms and notifications under "audio" in "System" double entries are created, tried clearing data for sound set and restored original audio folder from backup didn't help as the double entries still occurred after i pasted the sounds.

Btw, the sounds I got are from HTC Rezound from xda themes section for sensation.

Can any1 explain on this matter, i need some clarification : -

1) Overclocked means
2) Overclocked and Undervolted means

As i saw in XDA site, there are Overclocked Kernel for HTC Sensation. Need to sure what i m flashing for my set.

Sensation XE can use sensation's custom ROM's?

Haiz...was targeting directd's HTC store to buy Sensation XE but then the price increased >_<, guess have to wait for a longer time to get it

Overclock means higher than standard cpu speed.

Underclock means cpu runs at lower voltages.

If there's both means it's faster than standard cpu speed and runs at lower voltage, meaning less battery consumption.

I'm using 1.78 undervolted btw.
Yes you can use them, unless it's stated in the thread that you should only install on xe.

i read alot of reviews saying that xe has reli BAD battery life ...
juz wanna verify izit THAT bad .. compare to same range phones such as s2 ? Or they are juz exaggerating ?

sorry mate, been busy at work so replying slow. i couldnt really get what did you actually do for duplicating the sounds. since no go with clearing data also restored original audio folder, perhaps you can try re-flash the rom? it will not change your user setting with this approach.

If you're talking stock ROM, it probably is, but should still last you a day with moderate use. I'm using normal sensation with original 1520ma battery, that is 200ma LESS than XE original battery, and I can last for 1 day minimum with EVERYTHING turned on, except bluetooth.

Same here, busy busy =.=, no time to research the problem myself so was wondering whether anyone experienced the same thing.

Well I did that (reinstall ROM on top), no dice, double entries still there, might consider wiping but might as well wait for Lee's new release (should be soon =D), I can live with this very minor issue haha.

yes 4.5.4 but my radio cannot function pretty well? Know any way to correct.
