I think now i using Virtuous Inquisition v4.0.2 :: AOSP-Experience Senseless ICS (4.0.3)

so far smooth and no lag. no issue but not support the beats audio

update the official ICS.. each times restart y the android updating 19/19 always appeared?? i did received 2nd update after ICS for setting stuff.. still s-on mode! how 2 fixed it?

go flash your hboot now .your current hboot?.

recently, updated my Sensation XE to Android 4.0.3. Notice that in the homescreen, the shortcuts in the 2nd row from bottom cannot work. I have Gallery and Clock shortcut there. When i press the icon, nothing happen. And I also cannot put the folder on that row. This is weird. There is no problem previous. Tried to restart the phone few times and put other shortcut there, still the same problem. Anyone encounter similar problem? Please help....

send it back to warranty. i think need to flash original rom back.

still s-on din root at all.. dun1 root cos not my phone.. so how 2 avoid the updating each times i restart the phone?? android updating 1,2.. till 19/19

i think its normal for original rom.last time i very sick with this original rom.
now already root and s-off.

i think now i happy for that.

can you try to send that to HTC service centre ? maybe that can help?.

Besides sending in for warranty, is there other option I can do/try to solve this issue?
Is this a bug? Do you face similar issue after update?

Where is the nearest service center? I'm from Klang.

i think no bug since i also last time using original rom.you need to send it back to warranty

i updated ICS then after few weeks there is another update for setting.. means got 2nd update for fixing the wifi & bluetooth if no mistake..

i know about that. android updating. sign logo like blue one right?.19/19 is your application install on ICS.
i know also have 2 major update for stock rom for xe.

PS: i now already rooted and s-off since so boring with stock rom. now already play some custom rom like my signature here.

that's why i said. if you want to stick with stock rom. try to send to HTC for technical issue.

problem you faced is like about stock rom. ya, some people have issue like yours. try go to hboot and reset at there.
maybe it will be helped.do not reset at setting menu.

once i hboot & reset.. those contact number will be gone is it?

After update did you try factory reset?

i think the android is upgrading is a common bug for ICS..even the galaxy nexus running on vanilla android is also having the "problem". oh ya, after reset the android is upgrading will dissapear..but only once..after you have installed any app, the "problem" will come back. It doesnt really bother me at all, because i dont restart my phone all the time.

as for the bug and stuff, like i said. HTC do recommend the user to factory reset their phone after the update.

as for the reset, it will wipe ur phone memory but your sd card data will still be intact. why have to worry about your contact? Unless you never sync your contact with your google account.

u mean even i reset dy.. installed apps this issue will appeared?

it will reappear unless you dont install any app...why is it bothering you? You restart your phone a couple of times a day?
