A light modded 1.3 old 'Proton Junk' also can tapao Vios / City anytime. Either on straights or corners. Mind you the Vios i mentioned is Ah Beng Vios / City who wants to look fast but in fact it is not

Lancer / Inspira is a good car. Heavy chassis but engine performance not bad. Only downside for me is the CVT tends to overheat once you start modding the engine internally.

TS, since your budget is 100k and i assume you don't mind about maintenance cost just get 308pug. Turbocharged cars are quite fast and fun to drive.

If you concerned about maintenance costs as well, nothing much can recommend to you except for go for Jap / local NA cars. But with 100k, there is NO new car except for Satria Neo. Yes, engine is slightly not so powerful but its fun to drive once the RPM reaches 4k and above. Chassis rigidity is also good so just by changing to stiffer springs, the car can handle very well.

High revving engine is so orgasmic. Else get DC2 / DC5 smile.gif

Yes. 18/19" upto u. Tyres depends on quality.. top quality try 6k per change, or 18" normal tyres RM1800 per change maybe every 1.5 years, Lancer GT also same price. Regular service around RM300.

Maintenance not the cheapest around. But.. u drive 350Z out and Honda Civic out... which one looks better?

After finishing reading all 15 pages I too am interested in what you choose TS.

Could you update the first post or PM me when you finally decide smile.gif Really in the same boat as you.

On another note: maybe you should keep the city and invest in a car-simulator at home?
-high end pc, racing cockpit, wheels, pedals, buttkicker, LCD rfactor2 and you can have all the spirited driving you want

On another note, I think the 1.8M Inspira makes a lot of sense. Get that, buy aftermarket A/C auto climate control, and all other comfort/sport upgrades you want. But then that determines where you stay. If all time traffic jam commuting to work, maybe auto will be less stressing to your leg.

its not funny at all if it's your money. He's asking for the right choice ofcourse spoil with so much option. Put yourself into TS's shoe, if you get to choose one car for the next 5-7 years, would you not choose to make the right choice? Talk is cheap these days. But we can give good advise but not condemning the person for making the wrong choice nor being fussy. Everyone has his own priorities.
*
look at the tone he is using, even a superior dont talk like that to a subordinate.

looking for something is one thing, asking it rudely is another one.

he is expecting to get some tough result as if the forummer are his worker, his worker get paid, we forummer did it for FREE!! so save the attitude and be grateful.

remember, you pay peanut, you get monkey. You pay with air, you get a fark!

try go to naza world with that attitude, and see how one can shame /get humiliated in front of those car salesman.

go, try, i dare anyone with such an attitude, like, I'm rich and i'm so freaking rich i wanna buy a car.

Pls, go naza world Federal highway to get a reality check.
