It seems that shops have increased their price for the Advance. The lowest that I found is at 930. This is probably due to the supply & demand....

Just be patient with your search. There are still plenty of shops selling it. Just that some have ran out of stock...

can someone shared they experience using this phone? planning to buy this phone =P able to upgrade to ICS or not? and this phone have corning gorilla glass or not?

I'm not using this phone (my home minister did), but judge by the price below RM1000 I would say this phone perfoms well in all aspect among all the mid range category. The 1Ghz dual core processor gives you smooth handling as well as super amoled screen, and yes.... it comes with gorilla glass!

The slight curvy shape at the back of the phone gives unique design however you won't notice it anymore once you put on the back cover.. ha

The only drawback is the old OS (gingerbread 2.3.6) but rumours is in the air that this phone will receive ICS treatment soon so stay tuned yo.

bought this phone on 15 & 16 august..one for me and one for my gf...add me to owner list ty...love much this phone..performance not much diff with s2/s3 with spec and price wise is much greater..indeed value for money..

Hi, i just bought my S advance about a week ago. I realised that my phone's battery can't last for more than a day. I have task killer and i killed those apps whenever i want to lock my screen. I tried to off my wifi, but about 12hours, my battery had gone down to 20-30%. I only use it to call a few ppl and play a little games (less than 15mins). Anyone experiencing this battery issue?

buy a after sales battery with higher capacity.. eg sun global

use low/auto for brightness

But this battery should last longer than what I am experiencing right, since it is a 1500mAh battery?

My brightness set to the lowest already.

I realised that the battery drain very fast when I'm playing a game. Is this normal? I checked my battery usage (under Setting>About Phone>Battery usage>Graph) and the graph shows a very steep decline (almost vertical) when a game is turned on. I am just worried that maybe my battery is not performing the way it should be.
