s advance users, my s advance have audio jack problem. when plug in, headphone no sound at all... phone speaker is OK. any of u experienced tis? any solution?

try another headphone? or maybe audio jack probs?

updated my advance last night to Jellybean using kies...took me about roughly less than 30mins.

no problems with the phone so far.

can i update to JB using wifi?

Updated my Galaxy i9070 to Jelly Bean using Kies.

But noticed my phone now lags.
Not sure if need to do a factory reset.

definitely should factory reset, we are talking about upgrading to a whole new OS version here

might encounter issues later if don't factory reset~

yes u must do fac reset to eliminate lag and random reboot.

my hd video recorded got stutter lag with JB

Just want to share my 1 day experience with JB ( malaysia firmware )

1. The apps took longer time to launch and loading.( longer than in GB though ) .When I touch the back button, it took several seconds to function ( solve by clearing the RAM )
2. The battery seems to drain faster when in use. Had reboot 3 times, but no change.
3. Only 115-113 RAM are free to use.
4. THE CAMERA HAD TURNED BLURRISH and noise presence noticeable.. I had taken more than 8++ photos with this phone camera ( when it run GB ) and i am not sastified with the photos i took after updating to JB.
5. I also experience lags as other people do. But I when I play TEMPLE RUN AND TEMPLE RUN 2, it was buttery smooth.
6. I hate the new Gallery UI.
7. Several widgets from GB had missing.

I hope SAMSUNG will release a new firmware update to solve this problems, as soon as possible. Not performances are not suit with the amount of money I paid. Planning to downgrade to GB via ODIN . Wanna to root this phone first and play with it. Then, downgrade to GB.

hi, i just bought my samsung galaxy s advance yesterday. i wanna upgrade my firmware and just now i'm using samsung kies to upgrade (is it right method, right?). and kies detected firmware upgrade and i upgrade it, but after 100% downloading firmware, it said 'failed to run firmware upgrade. unknown error bla bla *i cant remember the exact words*'. i tried for 3 times and i ended up the same. why ah? is this mean i cant upgrade my firmware? :'( i wanna try JB too. huhu. hope someone can help me.

I advise u to wait until SAMSUNG release a stable JB firmware later. However u can ugrade to JB by another way, through flashing via ODIN. Just type it in Mr Google.

Ahhh i see... So the release is not stable yet? Ok i'll wait for it then cuz i'm afraid to upgrade by another way :'( . Btw, thanks a lot QWERTYUIOP12! <3

Anyway use India firmware as it is much better than Malaysia one although not the best.

May i know how to print screen? I found i can't do that after upgraded to JB
