- If you put a lot of photos, songs or videos in your sdcard..try scanning for any corrupted files. Sometimes bad files can effect the phone peformance.
- If you dont have many apps then i suggest you do a hard/factory reset.
- Once you start re-installing your apps back, monitor each app first before installing another one. This way you will know which apps slowdown your phone.
after i factory reset my phone, it booted up like a brand new phone, i set up google account, and it started to install almost all my apps automatically one by one (i ticked on "back up my data" and "auto restore" in "privacy"). before that i moved all my data (photos, downloads, etc) to the SD card...so the only thing i lost were the settings and configurations, and a couple of apps...took me a good few hours to configure settings to what i want. would be faster if i remembered more...
now, after the reset, the phone runs smoother, less lag, and more stable...i also may have gotten back some components that i might have lost, corrupted or accidently delete or whatever (result of messing around without knowing what i'm doing) at least i noticed i got back one... eg: the microphone key button on the keyboard which is for voice talk...it had disappeared. now is back.
happy with the performance of the phone after factory reset!
how do i scan for corrupt files?
BTW, my phone not rooted, don;t have intention to root it yet...
