That's the thing. I'm getting way too lazy yet I'm not doing much  sad.gif
But I'll be fine I suppose. Good luck to you too!  icon_rolleyes.gif
Dunno yet, just searching for roms first, see which one good.
*
Thanks!! notable roms used by us are:
TeamNyx RC5
TWICS
ICS333
Elite
Slim ICS

QUOTE(normeck @ May 29 2012, 11:54 AM)
the new RC5 cause some bootloop for some people. sorry icssgs. think i fall in love with ics333.
according to some comment on beautiful widget, it takes a lot of ram. now im using fancy widget for clock and weather.
*
Am using beautiful widget, nt much of a ram hog to me hmm.gif

QUOTE(garytey @ May 29 2012, 12:39 PM)
nothing much differences from other ics to be honest, for the screen i meant. except i found the font and icon is bigger than elite which is good for me. fast and sleek same as your guys' ics rom i suppose. New splash screen. still exploring, mainly to test battery life and performance.
*
Elite's smaller text and icons are due to its 210 DPI, can flash the normal 240 DPI package.
Anything new with the recovery? And what's Aroma installer to be exact? smile.gif

just back from the recovery, wow .. initial thought is awesome, there is a touch screen interface instead of traditional mode. and d aroma installer let you configure what you actually want to install, for example choose the variant of your phone, whether aosp only, recommended or custom blah blah while installing d rom. anyway, still can live without it .. nothing harm to try if you bore with your existing rom, just be cautious for the installation steps.

So the Aroma is part of the CWM recovery? You can just press to select the option in the recovery or it only allows you to drag the selection?

flash the 240DPI package (if I'm not wrong, your current DPI should be 210), download it using the Updater app in your phone.

hi guys, wanna get some info from you guys
my phone battery consumption had not been so good since i flashed to Elite RC1.2

below are some investigation that i did
1. DIDLE is on (via NSTools)
2. Better Battery Stats showing no obvious partial wakelock
3. Better Battery Stats kernal wakelock svnet is having 1hour +(total runtime since unplug is 6 hours+)
4. NSTools Idle Stats shows Deep Idle(both top=on and off) 0ms
5. Better Battery Stats shows Deep Sleep around 5 hours+, and Awake is 1 hour , screen on 52secs(i unplug straight went to sleep)

so from the info above, any idea what is wrong? the phone on idle also can drain battery pretty bad sad.gif i'm on elite RC1.2 and stock kernel by elite
