i might be jumping to HTC soon... maybe one X, waiting for second batch unit, i dont dare to buy first batch already, after samsung gps issue, and my motorola defy issue, and samsung doesnt care about previous handphone after new one come out 

naaah, i think quad core if more than enough to do anything. kinda dissapointed with the unremovable battery, and micro sim, then again my S1 i never bought any extra battery or change the battery for that matter. i dont know how S3 gonna top one X, the spec already max in my opinion. maybe change the screen type and type of processor, but heck, when both phone optimize with roms, and kernel, both have the same quality when running apps,

as long as no apps is laggy, dont care much about the inside.... even right now im considering between one X and nexus eventhough nexus is lower.

the only thing that set the buying right now is the beauty of the phone, which i 80% sure samsung going to come out with the same~~ design (rectangle dan home button tgh2), htc one x style really nice. really caught my eye.
and the future support, which samsung if following the history, low end or past phone will be forgotten, galaxy w no ICS , our phone also no more support, and then they will come out with soo many version of the phone. galaxy s dah bape bnyk version dah?

only thing i like about samsung android is the easiness to flash. no lock bootloader, no need to bypass this and that, just straight foward flash.

ermm bro ken im on ics now.. how 2 soft d gallery with multi same icon but dun have media n blank black on it sorry of my poor english ...

Guys, I havent change my firmware for ages. And now my phone start to lag as well as the battery drain like water. I would like to upgrade to Gingerbread 2.3.4 but when I flash the zip file attached in the 1st page of this thread, it stuck at the bootloader.

Oh ya, My firmware now is Gingerbread 2.3.1 (yeah...that old). XXJPY.

Another thing, now with ICS is getting steadier, which one should I flash? ICS or Gingy 2.3.4?

I am now on 2.3.3. Gingerbread. anyone have problems with 2.3.6? this is my first time to upgrade my samsung galaxy S not via Kies, so can anyone give me assurance that it will be ok

ermm my batery life in elite 10.1 kinda horrible.... use for wifi on9 d 65% drop to 0 in 2 hours++

im now using semaphore ics 1.0.0s on latest Elite.. wondering y everytime i do 720p video record, the camera bcome face fc after around 15secs.. should be no prob if not mistaken since the 1.0.0s not breaking 720p izzit?

not really i think but dunno la with the latest one coz nvr give a try.. but for me, i guess ics more better in term of battery life n performance..

with ICSSGS RC4.2 + semaphore kernel, with normal usage, can last more than 12hours..

but now im using Elite rom, want to try n see the diff.. just use 1 day so cant tell more about this rom yet.. but for sure it fast n smooth..

Seems like i dont have the standard maps application. Tried to download it but it says not available for your country.
Also youtube cannot play video.

installed market enabler, set value as given. Clear google play cache.. was able to click accept and download.. then still having that error  (this item cannot be installed in your country)   I thought was about to download already.. yet failed 

hmm not sure what happen. After flash that gapps, seems like i cant find google map at the market at all
