Just got myself a Cooler Master TX-3 EVO Edition yesterday.
It handles my Intel Core i5 3570K very well with only one fan attaches to it. Temperature is about 32-33c on idle and about 37-40 while playing games such as Team fortress 2, Call Of Duty MW3, Need For Speed Shift 2 and so on. If you didn't plan to do any overclocking, Cooler Master TX-3 EVO would be the best choice. Don't worry about Hyper 212+, price is much expensive than TX-3 EVO and it is only useful if you're going to do overclocking work. On stock core speed, TX-3 EVO can handles as good as Hyper 212+ EVO on idle/normal usage but, there are 2-3 Celsius different on gaming. All I can say is, Hyper TX-3 EVO is a good and a perfect cooler to replace your stock cooler. I am happy with it. Spinning silently. |

QUOTE(soulfly @ Mar 6 2012, 04:43 PM) is the old thermal material hard to remove, almost like chewing gum? if it is... you need something like ArctiClean, alcohol solution only is normally not enough to remove everything. if you found that articClean pricey, just apply some amount of WD 40. it did the job well. i do it more than hundreds time. |
