QUOTE(Shizuru @ Jan 29 2012, 10:29 PM) When I clicked Full Screen Settings, it showsShow Status Bar (unticked) Show tab (ticked) I tried to tick both but don't think it affect the Auto-Fit to pages function. For those using Boat Browser, can you get the "Auto Fit to pages" function working. I have switched on the Auto-fit pages in Settings but still not working. When I browse the Internet, the texts doesn't adjust itself to fit the page after I zoom in or zoom out. In Opera Mobile it works flawlessly, but I couldn't get it to work on Boat Browser. I like Boat Browser too...hopefully I can get the Auto-fit to pages working... Any ideas? Thanks Edit: After playing with it for a while, i realised I can only set it to 3 default options : Far, Medium or Close....and I have to double tap on the screen....this is different from Opera Mobile where you can pinch zoom to any size and the text will reflow itself to auto-fit. Unless I am missing something with Boat Browser setup. Btw, Boat Browser setting menu looks quite refreshing...a bit like MIUI....haha This post has been edited by erymanthus: Jan 30 2012, 10:57 AM |

QUOTE(FallenOut @ Jan 30 2012, 12:18 PM) it depends I'm not trying to side any telcos, but from my personal experience with Maxis 3G for 1.5 years, I have never been overcharged before.i was on maxis also last time as well as a few of my frens can confirm maxis speed is fast in my house area i can get 4mbps speed now i use digi average 1mbps sometimes low speed somemore bt the cons of maxis it seems very easily we can bypass the quota no matter what the quota is my exp is when i was overcharged then it takes about a month for them to solve the issue n not to my satisfaction so i cancel it n move on to digi my fren case he used watchdog n lbe to check his data usage n as always witout fail he will b charged extra for his data usage when he go complain they would simply reply those apps is inaccurate our data is accurate n it shows its over quota this goes on for a few months every month he need to pay 400 - 500 at last he join me over at digi our exp for speed maxis for coverage celcom for cheap digi Most people got overcharged for the 1st month only because they are not aware that the 1st month usage is pro-rated based on the day they sign up and the specified billing date. After 2nd months onward you can use your full data entitlement either 500Mb, 1.5GB or 3Gb depending on your package. I have been using 3G Watchdog for 1.5 years too and found that it is 90 to 95% accurate. I give myself some buffer so that I do not exceed. Please note that 3G watchdog does not keep track of Tethering..I was told, so be careful. Digi used to be cheap and good...they managed to grab a fair bit of share market...but lately I have been hearing complaints from my friends using Digi..maybe they have too many subscribers already and found it difficult to cope....and by giving people "so called" unlimited data access, the speed suffers a bit.... Just my 2 cents... |

Hi guys,
Can we talk about earphones (for our SGS2) here? Is it off topic? I was checking out the Jays A-Jay earphone at Digital Mall....not sure good or not... Previously, one of you suggested Shroom Hippo...other than Jaben Store I haven't manage to find it elsewhere... |

QUOTE(reijikageyama @ Jan 30 2012, 05:30 PM) A-Jays? depends if you like the sound signature. Thanks for the advice....I should visit Jaben soon to try it out.Hippo Shroom EB is still better for me when buying earphones, try to listen for sounds that you like (soundstage/bass/vocals/etc), but price matters too of course Buying online is cheaper but I don't get to test it and there are fake products on ebay as well |

QUOTE(jotaro12 @ Jan 30 2012, 06:17 PM) I still have both my S2 & IPhone 3G earphone in the box.... won't use it.... Thanks...I have been reading up on Shure as well...\If you're looking for lower range earphones, there's not much you can compare on sound wise unless some have mentioned. But when you're willing to spend more, your selections become more but at the same time will restrict on how you prefer your "music" or "sound". Shure, Sennheiser, Ultimate Ears etc do have quite a few headphile intro IEM(In Ear Monitors) and most won't disappoint beginners... Just beware the poison will go deeper & deeper when you have the chance to listen to those exp IEMs... LOL Note: I like Beats design.... That's it... won't buy lol... Btw guys, I found out there is an app in the Market called "Jays Headset Control" while researching for Jay A-Jays earphone...the app got quite good feedback and apparently the app works with other headphones as well....not just Jays headphones... |

QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Jan 30 2012, 07:58 PM) Anybody else here on Criskelo and has trouble reading any USB thumbdrives using the OTG cable? Mine says USB drive damaged (I have tried multiple drives and they all give the same error). I'm using Criskelo v38.I just tried my USB OTG. Yes, it is working when I plug in my thumbdrive. No problem here. You should try to plug in the thumbdrive into the USB OTG first, then only plug into the SGS2...see if it helps |

QUOTE(ashwin1234 @ Jan 30 2012, 08:16 PM) Yeah, that is always how I connect mine. Plug in the thumbdrive into the cable then only into the phone. I didn't change the kernel. I just flashed Criskelo ROM v38 and that's it. Everything seems to be working fine. No tweaks etc...What kernel are you running? Going to try Siyah now to see if it works or not. Running on lulzactive on NEAK causes lag in heavy gaming. Have to switch to ondemand and then it is smooth as butter. |

Hi guys,
Just gotten my new in-ear headphone. The sound is very nice, rich, crisp and balanced. Just sharing in case some of you are shopping for new in-ear headphones too. Before buying this, I tested all the following in Jaben shop in SS15. 1) A-Jays Three 2) A-Jays Four 3) Klipsch S4i 4) Hippo Shroom EB 5) Audio Technica 55 6) Shure 215 Final decision was Denon 560R...it's really nice. I tested on the spot with the Jays Headset Control app downloaded from Android Market. The middle button of the headset works with all the function, Play/Pause.....Increase/Decrease volume....skip track forward/ backward....answer/ reject call..... Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(destEX @ Feb 4 2012, 04:52 PM) try select 1 ip and see if it work first lol Yup, RM349. No discount. how much you bought? (saw the price, rm349 but got discount?) They claimed that in Apple Store, they sell it for RM500+... There were cheaper ones around RM200 to 250....but after listening to all of them, you can tell the difference that what you pay is what you get.... My final shorlisted selection were either Klipsch S4i, A-Jays Four and Denon 560R.....all in the region of RM300+... Now, I'm enjoying my music more...heehee..it is definitely better than the Stock headset... |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Feb 4 2012, 05:12 PM) Yes, the Klipsch S4i was very nice too...but the only setback was that the Mids were a bit weak. Songs with more vocals like Adele, etc will sound a bit "weak"....but overall it is still very good. The bass was good too. |
