Another simple question.
If I change original battery to 2000mah, the phone will become think a bit. So this means that normal case/cover/pouch cannot suit the phone right?

Those flexible ones might fit, but plastic ones guarantee no fit

If I want to exit apps should I use the back button or the home button??
I tried the back button, but then when I go back to task manager, and check the running apps, it seems that it is still running...
How to completely annihilate the app completely?
Thanks..

First of all, forget the first question...
Sorry about that..

Err, when I open the market app for example, and then I press the back button..
Then I go to the task manager, the app is not there.. good...
But then when I go to the running application tab, the market is still there...
Must I exit it?? Or is it already exited??
What I mean is should I go to the task manager or the running application tab to confirm whether the app is still running or not??

Thanks..

Apps like market or phone are meant to be running in the background.

QUOTE(FallenOut @ Jan 26 2012, 08:39 PM)
no wonder all of em get it wrong
u wanted to annihilate the app completely
its impossible
bt it could b done
lets start from the very beginnin

first u go out buy a tin of zippo lighter fluid
then pour it all over ur s2
then use a lighter or match
set fire to ur s2
in about an hour time
come back n claim ur phone
i can gurantee u tat
the app will b completely annihilated
checkrom revohd4
u r more suited for nokia 3310
hahahaha
im waitin for ics patiently lolz
wow
bt i doubt that video
how about this
since u got a gal w n gal note
why not record this usin both ur phones
then i will think u r right
tat u prove s2 will still works after it absorbs the excess water
n wit that sentence
it will means s2 hav water inside
n it can absord excess water

so its a new marketin gimmick
next time it floods
throw the s2 to the water
it will absorb
just do wat i suggested instead
*
Wow shocking.gif u must hate him a lot

@positron I know u want to learn more, just try not to annoy us

Is it?

I have had this experience all way long and I did a research - Data overrides phone call/sms in 2G/Edge network.

I have been looking solution on this and trying to believe it is not a technology limitation issue. I am still trying and it doesn't change a thing.

Perhaps you can enlighten smile.gif

Cheers
*
I don't think you can change it, its just how edge works, we just gotta live with it

No problem, to tell you the truth, I use in reverse I use my Samsung Charger to charge my nokia...
But sometimes, I use Nokia Charger to charge my S2...
Both also can, although sometimes, I prefer to use my Nokia Charger, the output current is way higher than Samsung..
Just my opinion..
drool.gif  drool.gif
*
The sgs2 limits the voltage to max 650ma, so even if ur Nokia charger output 800ma, the phone will still charge at 650ma and less

According to nicregi, flashing thunderbolt cause bootloop in hyperdroid, correct me if I'm wrong nicregi.

It's quite easy to grasp once you get the hang of it.

I'm still looking for a good modem, I'm quite bored of flashing new ROMS.

Just using 2.3.6 official ROM, I did flash the kernel to speedmod though as I find that the minimum brightness on speedmod is lower than the stock.

I prefer it dimmer as its less harsh on the eyes.

I'll wait until there's a stable ICS build before i go ahead and flash again.
I need this phone as a daily user. haha..
*
Just download many modems and try urself, see which is best for you, everyone have different 'best' modems
