That 7s is not related to the LLC, idling or head parking in the Greens and is not something that wdidle3 can change.
If it was for NAS, I'd stick with the Reds because of the above link.

just got this from a source in WD, the enterprise HDD are manufacture here locally, while the consumer drives are produce in thailand. maybe that explains why the reds are expensive

Reds are targeted at the consumer market.

I do not know what factors WD used, but it would be easier to use your enterprise manufacturing lines to produce a consumer product with some enterprise features than to upgrade your consumer manufacturing lines to do that job. Of course, they'll have to balance between producing the low margin consumer Reds and producing the more profitable enterprise hardware, so the Reds might probably see the short end of the stick all too often during crunch periods; at least until perhaps something more permanent can be arranged.
