What should I do so that I can keep all my existing apps after I reflash to a new rom ? Backup in recovery mode using CWM ? Need help tongue.gif
*
Backup using Titanium Backup. Move the backup folder from your SD card into your computer then flash to your new ROM. Once done flashing to new ROM, install back the Titanium Backup application and then move back the backup folder into your SD card. Finally, restore (with data) to all your apps smile.gif

Galaxy W sure does run out of battery very quickly when on Data. I run out of battery in easily 3 hours while heavy browsing. Anyone know how to increase battery life? Does the Cow ROM help with the battery life?

if you use oc rom from cow, u can run at 1.4ghz, but this mode, is undervoltage, so battery can last much longer than default rom.
*
So, if I install Overclocked ROM from Cow then underclock it into 1.4GHz, battery can last longer?

Will my phone overheat like when I'm on 1.8GHz?

Anyone here knows or thinks it's possible to expand the RAM size? I really need more RAM space. Any how to expand it, possibly to 600 or 700MB? sad.gif

Some questions to all W users here who has successfully flash their phone.

1.Which recovery mod did you used?
2.How did you flash the recovery, via ADB or Odin?
*
Odin.

You can access nandroid back in ClockWorkMod. In CWM, select Backup your phone. You cannot use Odin to install my custom ROM! Must use CWM or RZRecovery...
*
Oh... Okay. But... last time you PM'ed me the details on how to install the Custom ROM, you wrote there use Odin to Install ClockworkMod? blink.gif
