QUOTE(mat sputnik @ May 28 2012, 11:16 PM) I find its best use when taking pic through glass - like car windscreen, glass wall at airports, etc. -- can really reduce the reflections on the glass for clearer pics. Same here, wonder to buy it for that effect as well, maybe will go to buy for it tomorrow

QUOTE(nlik @ May 29 2012, 11:37 PM) Me using some small brand NIPON nex - nikon adapter la. I tried a nikkor 50 mm and felt it was very difficult to focus and to get a shake free shot. Got the 35mm 1.8 instead which I am still very happy with, even thought i miss have AF. I think you'd better take the e-mount 50mm 1.8 and save yourself the frustrations and weight. Any idea for the Carl Zeiss 50mm F2.8 German Vs SEL50F18?Wondering which should i buy As i understand that CZ available for MF and SEL50 is AF, how about the IQ ? By the differ RM 300+, still think invest In SEL50F18 for the better IQ and feeling QUOTE(bUGG @ Jun 8 2012, 10:17 PM) Very good lens, sharp. Focus fast too. Startup time abit slow, some rattling sound when the camera is turn off, other than that,at the price of RM650+/-, so a good buy

QUOTE(cain @ Jun 10 2012, 03:07 PM) Yeah, they are pretty comparable. When i bought it i thought if they cost pretty much the same, why not go for the newer model, but i guess the argument could go the other way since the 5N is several times better at continuous shooting. I don't have the 5N, so can't compare personal experience XD I understand that sony did offer top up few hundred bucks for F3 package will get the SEL50F18, did you know the offer can grab it?

QUOTE(jtleon @ Jun 11 2012, 09:19 PM) I'm a beginner just like you. bought C3 with twin lens back in February, i wasn't aware of 5N at that time....i was looking for entry level non PnS camera. I was checking out Panasonic GF3 and NEX C3. From my point of view, if we are beginner, and dunno much about lens, kit lens 18-55mm is good enough. I would go for 5N if the price is only a slight different. Well, if you have look into different lens, and would like to have the wide angle pencake lens 16mm then I would probably go for C3 twin lens. FYI, 5N has touch screen and we can add remote shutter control device. Now with F3, the newer model...I'm not sure what I will choose if I'm you now....F3 has added self-portrait, auto portrait framing and some cool features. The physical outlook look quite similar to NEX 7. You probably have to go to shop and try it out to find out what you like. F3 has twin lens package, as well as the SEL50F18 option as well. After few study, I prefer stay with SEL50F18 and Sigma 19mm lens, it provide better IQ with Nex5n. I still vote for NEX5n for the touch screen function as it only applied on Nex5N
