got a iriver t9 2 months ago and i was enjoying its stock earphone. then i bought shure se215 and i can only hear flat sound from that mp3 player but full blasting bass and stuffs from my samsung galaxy s2. so should i get an amp or a new mp3 instead? i prefer getting a new mp3 instead because i dont like my pocket being full of stuffs, but if an amp is necessary then i will have no choice.

memory: not an issue but bigger is better (i only keep my favourite songs anyway)
format: FLAC or ALAC? or any other better formats? tongue.gif I am new to this
battery life: above 15 hours would be good
budget: around 700

I bet cowan j3 would be a better selection

hmmm, searching for an alternative to my roccoo DAP. Sound quality is good (which is the main reason i purchased that) but the interface is soooo frustrating lol.

can anyone suggest a great sounding DAP / PMP that has pretty good interface?

Any recommendations for a player that's:

- RM200 or below
- must work well with IEMs like Shure
- plays mp3 and audiobooks
- screen is optional since I'm not interested in watching videos with it
- has at least 2GB storage and above

Thanks!

Hi all of my friends, I have a question to ask, is the Sansa Fuze(not Fuze+) worth buying? Will be pairing it with my Govibe MBA MK2 and PFE022. I also might get a LOD in future and pair it with a better amp. Thanks in advance. smile.gif

For transport i think it is worth enough. And Sansa Fuze itself is worth buying. Sansa Fuze is still on my list ever. BTW LOD for sansa is custom made right?

Yup, custom made and can be quite expensive too. But according to clieos, the HO is clean, so can be used with amps. hmm.gif
I have been using a 2nd gen ipod, will it beat the ipod sq? Ipod HO is not that good.

The soundstage, the mids, the bass, and no expendable memory. And I want to try out the Sansa Line, if it's good, will get a LOD and make it my primary portable setup till I upgrade to something better.
