I was going to spray my laptop but got a skin for it instead and save a whole lot of time. I bought a skin for my dell studio 17" that I've had for the last 4 years. It has gotten a lot of wear and tear but is still running great. The only problem was the cosmetics. The skin I got was one that I designed myself (it's about the book series game of thrones, I don't have a pic yet but I will post one as soon as I can). I uploaded it at styleflip.com. It makes my laptop look brand new, and with a sick image on it that doesn't look cheap.

I got mine from www.styleflip.com, they hook you up with a discount code if you post a picture too. I'm going to skin my phone next!
