also can use laundry bag as filter. I use it for filtering my car aircon.

not sure what this is called ( cooking wire mesh, oil strainer ? ) but u can cut out the fine wire mesh in the middle and use as filter. also washable and more rigid than fabric. Sory just my wild ideas.
