switch off your tab, take out your sim card.. leave it for 10 seconds.. slot it back, restart.

if still cannot detect, try manual input yr telco's APN settings.

Still cannot.
It says please insert sim card even the sim card is there.
I cleaned the sim card still the same.
Is my sim got peoblem?

Oh ya, any solution to activate the screen without using the power bitton? I am afraid that the power button might spoilt faster...

what do u mean not really custom ROM? all ROMs that are not stock memang custom ROM liao..

got.. there's a mod that can wake the screen by pressing any button, i.e. power, volume up or volume down.
when i say mods, it means need root.

I am waiting and see if samsung really no update the tab to jellybean then i might try myself to root it. But what is te advantages of root beside got extra mods?

i don't really get what u mean. I think you are confused.

as far as i know, our first gen of tab 10.1 is not in the JB release. So, if u really wanna use JB in your tab, then u have to flash CM10 or other AOSP/AOKP ROMs for JB that is compatible with P7510/P7500.

to make you clear,
root is similar to admin access in Windows. Example, in your company computer, u r not allow to install or change any settings to the PC cz u r not the admin. but at home, u can do anything u want with yr own PC/laptop, cz u r the admin. rooting your device gives u admin access to your device. allowing u to install or mod or change any settings esp.

ROM is the OS for your device, it's like Windows 7 for PC.

app is like software for your PC.

So, if u understand this. then u will know the reason behind these.

pershoot is a dev for custom kernels.

Encounter a problem of updating to ICS, I factory reset my tab for the purpose of solving connection problem in Kies, but now i get a message saying your device does not support firmware upgrading via Kies. So what's the problem actually, is it i am using custom rom??? Currently i am downloading the latest firmware from sammobile,

anyone manage to upgrade their gtab10.1 3G, p7500 through kies or OTA? read posts before some yes but some no ==? confuse here~~
anyways my all-white p7500 baby just about 3 months old, bought it instead of tab2 10.1 last time since the specs higher (i guess?)

Just done my flashing through odin

Upgraded to ICS OTA early Saturday morning (13/10/12). Took about 45 mins. No usage problems detected yet.

welcome.. u can either update your firmware via kies or OTA now i think..

alternatively u can use Odin if u r familiar with it. spec is the same but tab 2 has additional micro sd card slot, thicker and heavier too.

Update ics firmware via OTA now the speedtest speedo meter cannot load.anyone hv this problem?
