i feel the 7.7 is too small although it has better specs

yes.. it will be deleted if u delete from the app list, not the home screen.. only some configuration files will remain which require to delete manually..

for me I charge whenever have power point if the charger is with me because I am using it 24hrs around the clock (skype etc always on) so battery juice is very important to me.

Li-Ion battery is difference from those old MiMH battery which have memory effects so can charges anytime. Also if always charges when buttery too low or drain off will shorten the battery life.

All samsung come with 12months warranty...so just go ahead and charges, hopefully battery kong before expiry then we claim for a new one. haha.

i will charge everyday before sleep unless i still have >70% remaining, but unlikely cz I'm a heavy user with my tab. I use it to online, make notes, draw, read, play games.. :claps:
battery usually wont kong tat fast.. even if u charge it everyday only 365 cycles, typical battery will kong after 3 years of usage.. but also depends on many factors such as charging amp, working temperatures, and LUCK.

what apps? depends on wat u wan and how u wan to use yr tabs lor..

for me, i installed games, news app, note taking app, drawing app, financial/stock apps, reading apps lo.. mostly productivity apps.

entertainment/media have pps, poweramp, youtube, TED

You do not need to root or unlock anything to install any of those free cracked pirated apps. But beware of install such apps as some will cause instability. It is different from IOS where you eed to jailbrteak phone for this

honestly the hardware is pretty bad. nothing can be done about that. what you can improve is the software.

to lock screen by touch screen, install 'sceen of and lock' from play shop.

learn to root, then flash a custom rom. Overcome or task rom are good honeycomb roms.
if you dont use the camera for video call, highly recomend flash kang ics, its the smootest and fastest so far
dont expect miracles though, even on ics, its still slightly slower than ipad2, what to do, tegra2 and ulp geforce is the most shitty dual core out there.

screen protector as long dont buy matte kind is ok. but up to personal preference, see you like to pamper your eyes or fingers.
matte screen nice to touch but blur image, clear screen is clear and sharp image, but not so smooth to touch.

daimond and clear basically same.
just that it has some glitters that shows when the screen is off.
when its on, its barely visible.

how much u bought for yrs? does it reduce smudge and anti-scratch as claimed?

last time when i buy screen protector for phone, saw the shop show me,
diamond sp for phone seems quite ok, small shinny screen.

but for tab, abit "over" for my taste, carrying a big glittery screen. haha.
the smudge level same as clear sp only.

in mines, price of clear, matte and diamond sp for phone are

in pasar malam is
rm5 - 8 - 12

u put many heavy loading widgets in your home screen? auto refreshing widgets tends to lag the transition more, but those widgets are the most useful ones, so i dont mind waiting awhile for it to load as long as i get my things done fast through home screen. no need tap into individual apps to check.

Widgets make screen scrolling super laggy on honey comb.

On ics, the whole launcher is smooth, no lag even with Widgets, screen rotating is very fast as well.
So don't worry, the lag issue will be solved when ics arrive.

Not really looking forward for the official version. Touch widz will slow it down to hc 3.2 standards.

Even if cyanogenmod9 reach final release, the only improvement is the functional camera, and wifi direct. Man I miss this feature so much, using USB otg is not that fun.

if u r using stock rom then should be able to type chinese.

use swype keyboard, then change the language from EN to ZH..
