great game. oni too mani bugs lor, nd 2 patch n patch n patch. i wonder they even test it b4 selling it out 2 consumer?

at least they keep patching their games, unlike some other games that never got patched even though got bugs.

The popular consensus is that bugs are always expected with Bethesda games. But to be fair, I'm actually very impressed with Skyrim's programming and detail as a whole. I'm a software engineer and the amount of effort and testing for even the first buggy version of the game must have been enormous. Although I'm still disappointed in the vanilla GUI and interface.

how many games that have 0 bugs in it?
at least, this game always got the fix. even previous Elder Scroll also got tons of bugs, but still enjoyable.

Game companies often have tight schedules and long work hours. It's really not easy to design and program a game. Bugs are always expected, especially in a game that tries to create a whole province like Skyrim. Be glad they're still supporting the game.

i wasn't an elder scroll fan before skyrim, 1st tried the jack version and quickly fell in love with it.when they are on sale for 30 buck i jumped ship and never look back . As far as the bug and patches,better they release patches than just bundle them up on DLC,i just love the workshop and community build on Nexus

They are provided a sandbox, a totally open environment where you can tweak and do stuffs that is great, yet could be game damaging. Something that is that free to alter cant possibly be stable and bug-free.

If you want bug free games, go play some scripted game that follow A to Z in a continues path. That way there are less buggy, but theres not many thing you can do apart from going A to Z.

Its like Apple vs Android. With Apple the OS is stable, but you are restricted to play rules Apple has set for you. With Android you are the rule.

consumer pay "real cash" money for it. i personally not to encourage such mistake. as a original game seller, customer coming back complaining so much about this game asking for refund. im not expecting 0 bugs but not this much giving troubles to seller & consumer.

well, if you expect the game to be free of bugs, we may have to wait for 3 years or maybe more.
and games like this always known for bugs ie Fallout series. but developers tried their best to fix the bugs in time.

Nobody I know who bought TES games ever asked for refunds. Their mum might, considering how anti-social their children had become.

there is always some sturborn "mang-sat" ppl. i being scold mani times bcoz of this game like d game i made o something. mani thank you to d bugs, d famous silly obvious bug "esborn" sh!t, your companion & dog always stuck at infront, blue screen, stuck in mountain stone. god so mani more...i hardly remember. i told my customer since u open, i can oni refund half price lor o u take it back patch it yourself, make complaint to d game compani then costomer said me no good lar, this n tat, tipu lar, not coming back buy game lar, all sort of ugly face showing up.

BSOD?
the most common bug i encountered are only CTD (crash to desktop) and some quest bug, which can search in internet for solution.
u're just unlucky to get a lazy customer. and how to refund, since the game already fixed to ur customer's steam account?

in these days and age, information is not hard to come by.the esborn bug is the 1st bug that i encountered when playing the game and the solution are posted all-over the web.for most part of the stuck problem console command can help such fly if the problem so desperate but i never had BSOD.i guess your customer are not well educated or just plain lazy.pity ya bro..

I'm just surprised that there were people who actually bought Skyrim at stores. I thought everybody would have jumped on the Steam bandwagon by now.

Because not everybody have superb internet connection. Plus, Skyrim was cheaper at store when launched. Not to mention everyone lurve to collect boxes.

Ah true. I had to use my office connection to download Skyrim.
