When contacted JPJ director-general Datuk Solah Mat Hassan said enforcement on vehicles with illegally-fitted HID lights was an ongoing process.

He said although the local automotive industry follows the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the RTD had its own standards and vehicles installed with HID lights of more than 4,300K were issued summonses.

“These motorists have fixed bulbs illegally. We allow xenon lights on the roads but it must be properly aligned and it should not be more than the approved Kelvin Rating,’’ he added.

JPJ engineering department (automotive division) director Mohamed Dalib said the department measured the Kelvin Rating of a vehicle with xenon lights within a distance of 25ft.

“If the light source measured is more than 4,300K, than you will be summoned,’’ he said.

Meanwhile, Solah said the department was in discussion with ministry officials on the next level of enforcement against HID lights.

Do have the part number or picture of the 3 bushings?
*
MR594612 RM 10.97ea
MR554373 RM 11.82ea
MR594613 RM 15.08ea

bushing B confirm not there, bushing C and collar will have to reconfirm when at Eon when i go there next friday to meet the techincal team.

based on memory, which im very poor at, bushing C and collar is not there, but i'll have to look at the parts diagram to be sure.

err..isn't our absorbers a totally different set with the Lanceeeer........??? so what makes you think those part will fit to our ORI PROTONG made absorbers ???? or am i wrong like my good cousin and my stewpik nick prevails ???
*
haha..both plotong and mitsu absorbers made by Kayaba. so different or not leh?

absorber mounting, spring upper pad, bump stopper, plate and washer same as per lancer, so no reason for it not to fit.

the only thing proton did was change spring and absorber and cut these 3 parts out.

bro, lancer and inspira's absorber made by kayaba. bro rublik even had the springs from the lancer in his inspira.

from sources? from LANCER MANUAL AND INSPIRA PARTS LIST.... the mounting? MR491946----> plotong inspira mounting.google this number n see what comes out.

the spring and absorber dimensions are the same, except the rebound rate.

read the manual bro, alot of info there. smile.gif

Top mounting for the shocks is different from LGT vs Inspira.... the top mount is different shaped, thus Inspira cant use LGT's mount....

As such, the shocks for Inspira have to re-use its own mount....
*
bro, regarding the absorber mounting it is the same, same part number, and made in japan. trust me, cuz i claim it b4 smile.gif
