QUOTE(wiraone @ Jan 23 2012, 08:28 PM) ADHR kernel? Or do you mean ARHD? If you install ARHD, it comes with the kernel, you don't need to install it separately. To install ARHD, download the zip file, copy into /sdcard, go into recovery, install zip file, select the ROM and run. BTW, ARHD runs on 4.0.2, so beware of installing separate kernel which requires 4.0.3 .. Sorry typo, its ARHD... Btw wanna ask a newbie question, yakju 4.0.2 and ARHD also call ROM? Means yakju 4.0.2 is stock ROM and ARHD is 4.0.2 custom ROM? So flashing to ARHD will wipe off everything right? Where can i download ARHD? |

Guys wanna ask about titanium backup.. When we backup everything, the backup files will be store inside our internal SD, if we do a total wipe before flashing a new ROM, will it wipe out our backup files too? Or do we need to transfer it to our PC first?

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 24 2012, 09:01 AM) Wrong info. It will only wipe clean the data in hidden partition where apps are installed. The viewable partition where your download data eg games data, dictionary data, maps data, backup data from titanium, mybackuppro etc will not be deleted Thanks benny for this usefull info!!!I have been doing such factory reset so many times and have yet to see a clean wipeout. Everything remains intact |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jan 25 2012, 11:47 PM) did you install the driver successful ?? It is the same since it will ask LTE or GSM version at the main page of the program. Just the forum support (Q&A) is the different..or this link, i preferred this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392310 since from the link that i post, the TS say for LTE support the link that you post @@ even TS also put the link that i put @@ This post has been edited by t3n: Jan 25 2012, 11:52 PM |

What is the proper way to flash a new kernel? Just copy paste install from CWM or need to wipe cache?

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 26 2012, 09:27 PM) Depending on which cook rom you installed, Use root explorer - browse to /system/media or /data/local - rename the bootanimation zip. You can also replace it with the original ICS boot animation - google for the original bootanimation zip. Reset phone and the cook rom animation zip will be replaced with just a simple Android single word animation Thanks!! Done..!! As easy as ABC This post has been edited by t3n: Jan 26 2012, 10:07 PM |
