nope, if it's really happen; is not as huge different as S2 is from Samsung Exynos to TI OMAP.
but the link show is only from TI OMAP4460 to TI OMAP4470.

is from PowerVR SGX540 to PowerVR SGX544; about double the performance.
S2 is Mali-400MP to PowerVR SGX540

     

its like flashing non-G rom on G version. u noe wat's the outcome.

S2 case, no need say la, Samsung vs. TI
S2 case is downgrade, if the link mentioned is apply for world wide, is consider upgrade if you summarize again. both case mana boleh compare, opposite direction.

don't care too much about it as for existing user, we already have few great ROM; I'm satisfied.

i rmb in nokia or SE can key in command using *# to find the phone IMEI number
i usually do this last time as ppl can easily change the IMEI sticker

You will see Phone Info, Battery Info, Usage Statistics, WiFi Info
Select Phone info : IMEI

Check IMEI can be done by dialling *#06# . Universal code for all mobile phones.

finally able to afford a smartphone after collecting enough ang pows during CNY.
galaxy nexus is on top of the list simply becos it's the latest from samsung.
the big negatives so far is the soft loudspeaker and weak battery.
also while doing some research on the internet, saw this peace of news.

The development of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note is obviously progressing according to schedule. The Norwegian branch of the South Korean company just confirmed that the update is due to arrive at the end of this quarter, which means that there are just a couple of months left before the wait is finally over.
The Ice Cream Sandwich update will bring lots of new features to the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note, including a new task manager, better notification manager and vastly improved browser in terms of both functionality and performance.
You may remember that we got to play with one of the leaked ICS ROMs for the Samsung Galaxy S II a while ago and we were quite happy with its functionality. Unfortunately it was still quite buggy and not really suitable for everyday use.
Since that moment several new Samsung-made (but not meant for public release) ROMs popped up for the Galaxy S II and they show that the Samsung R&D engineers are actually advancing quite rapidly.
The latest version available is I9100XXLP6 and it's arguably the first one ready to fill in as your main ROM. It does lots of bug fixing and performance tuning and while it's some way off perfection, it's good enough for most geeks. Plus, it enables the Face unlock feature, which is one of the coolest (if not particularly functional) parts of ICS.

Galaxy s3 gonna launch around June, Samsung confirmed this. Plus gotta wait awhile till telcos bring it over here, so maybe around september-october we will get the s3 latest. You decide urself whether to wait for s3. If me, I will wait since it will be more powerful.

i still waiting for maxis to get this phone T_T
hope can get RM500 cheaper if sign contract base on gnote plan.

This won't happen because the whole point of a Nexus phone is to have a stable platform for each new OS. This having a new SoC, and this long after the official Nexus release means it's probably a false rumour. 99% false I would say. All Nexus phones so far have ALL been on 1 standard SoC, just how Google wants it to be.

If you gonna use custom rom better get sme. AP will use as excuse to denied the warranty. SME seems never check for this.
