Stn 5 and the one near kg sri aman wont be built.

So, ST07 will still be there? I sure hope so. But apparently someone has some news that it wont be built, although he/she give no source for the news. Maybe spreading rumours..

I think you are refering to Ozak's remark. What he said is the new Tesco in Bdr Bkt Puchong might not be built afterall not the stn haha
Nope, i was referring to someone else's post in the property thread that the station next to tesco will not be built, "very confirmed" some more tongue.gif . Anyway, a news without credible source is rumour, so we'll wait till a real "news" came out. It's getting silly really over there in the thread, lol...

What is the new flyover for? To expand going to Sunway from Cyberjaya direction or to Kinrara direction?
*
New ramp from Puchong to Sunway direction. The existing ramp (now used for contra flow Sunway to Puchong during peak hours) will be made so permanently. Hope i dont read wrongly..

Also quoted from Qazreen91 @SCC Forum... Looking at the pedestrian bridge design, there will be a new bridge connecting to ST07, providing shelter to cross over from the station to the other side.

Nice Setia walk picture. really a huge project but get lesser attention compare to the upconmh Paradigm Mall & Setia Mall in Seri Setia haha.

I believe after this kampung might be opening a new thread about the "Wow" Setia Walk gigantic size...

Anyway still very quiet

Yeah.. no doubt the completion of the station will boost its footfall. BTW anyone has any idea on the naming of the stations, or not yet finalized?

Actual station names are not being determined at this moment.
*
Well, in the case of Dubai Metro, companies are paying huge sums of money for the stations to be named after their mall or tower which the stations are located. tongue.gif

The second pic, that is Puteri Central side? I thought the ST09 should be across the road. The space looks limited here.

Actually like it or not, the Jln Sultan MRT will go ahead as it does not really require land acquisition.

It should be, no govt can please ALL parties in any decision they made. There's bound to be some butthurt. Just have to go with the lesser of two devils.

"A construction worker was killed when he was sandwiched between a pole and a segmental box girder launcher on a Light Rail Transit (LRT) track under construction at the Taman Muhibbah People's Housing Project (PPR) in Puchong near here Thursday."

Gonna expect some delays due to this case...

Shoud be OK lor.. probably stop at the last stn beside Giant Kinrara. MRCB really...haizzh @#%$^&  mad.gif

Anyway, Pasarana should hv imposed some form of penalty on late completion.. see how fast lor...I can see lotsa tracks piled up beside IOI Malls but no viaducts at all  doh.gif
*
I think in this case MRCB can claim extension of time from Prasarana, because they can say the delay is due to events out of their control, which is the refusal of the school to grant permission to work near their compound. Which brings to another point: who should be responsible to secure all right to work? Prasarana or the contractor?

Darn wth them holding ransom on the school when that school just a small portion of the overall Stn 6 till 13 @##%%$
*
Yala... we just want the extension to progress as per plan and schedule. The school really haih. But since schools belong to the Government (and the land too), I feel MOE should just interfere and grant permission to Prasarana to proceed with the work. Just afraid that some parties will politicize this issue if MOE interfere.
