My savvy manual need to pop up power steering fluid. Where to get one and what brand? Patrol station got or not? I heard ATF can be used as temp?

Yesterday I checked my PSF is white clear? Not sure :/. Ibought a bottle of ATF but it is reddish. If let say I top up with ATF how soon i need to replace whole fluid? My current lvl is just below min mark. Its been weeks. So i think it just leak very little( or vaporized?).

Just got back from genting and bukit tinggi from cyberjaya with my old savvy.no problem. Still strong. Can pick up three of us. Power steering fluid lvl remain the same below min mark. I wonder where quite amount of it has gone to.

I'm going to go renautech tomorrow. I wanna check if my savvy (2005 M) already undergone the recall program. Do they know about savvy Spindler prob? Or I need to go to protong sc?

My savvy runs 100kmh with 3.5k rpm on 5th gear. Is that normal? I think its kinda high for me. after minutes 100kmh+ drive, i can start to smell something burnt. Is it my clutch?

last time i got the same overheat prob. Actually it was my bro who drove the car that time. Stuck at jam in KL, temp raised to 4 never back to 3 as usual. Then gradually raised to 5 bars. My bro "bravely" continued to drive without informing me the problem. Then just before entering the toll booth the temp raised to 6 bar and the overheat warning sign came up. My bro pulled over to check before engine stopped itself.

Coolant was no more. All dried up. The he quickly refilled the coolant using tap water. After awhile he drove the car again. The temp lower to 4-5, but minutes after that raised back to 6. He stopped, found out the water has gone again. He didnt care just keep adding the water lol. Halfway to cyberjaya, the car felt like no power. cannot pickup using 2nd gear. The rpm could go as low as 500-600 rpm on idle, then stop by itself.

From there i ask insurance to tow my car to workshop. Cant afford to force to drive to PJ.

After full day repair at renautech, they fixed:
1. ignition coil cracked
2. Thermostat housing and sensor kaput
3. radiator clogged

around RM800 yo

luckily no damage to the engine. Up until now it is still normal.

i think common behavior for savvy is the temp tend to raise to 4 bar (for couple seconds) during long traffic jam. If the temp could not go back to 3 bar in minutes, i will stop and pull over.

I know this is a random noob questions.. But been reading a lot and it's been very subjective.
I'm going for a holiday for a few weeks and contemplating whether I should take out the plug connecting to my battery or just let it be..
Kesian my baby savvy nobody is gonna drive it for a while..
It's still in good condition the battery btw.
Any personal advise?

if you worry just cabut the ground cable. Dun pull the hand brake so hard. Just not to let your car moves on its own.
Else, oso ok if you do nothing. It is just weeks, not months or years
