what about about 195/50/15?

I have no problem with 185/60/14 tyres with 6.5jj rim - from feedback earlier people said will experience mudguard rub but I didn't experience any - with full 3 adults at the back/full load - front can full turn..

this thing really need to try ourselves 1st one..

but my back absorbers are Kayabas though..no spring buffer, stock springs.

brows.gif Savvy is very poisonous brows.gif So, now you're running on KNN ar? Got drop in mou? I no planning for open pod. Besides, do I need special tools to maintain Renault engine ar? I was trying to open the filter box also couldn't find sweat.gif
Wow! Your car sounded damn garang wei brows.gif

Can't wait to collect my Savvy and start doing awesome things with it drool.gif

the star screw driver for the airbox is quite common to get from hardware shops - forgot the correct term.. it's the square recess nut (for the oil pan and gearbx) that is harder to find but still can get - jsut change them to ore common hex nut...

already ditched the apexi open pod filter last year, got hole after 4++ years...not using air filter box, looking at knn filter also lol.

Another car that has extractor near the firewall is Inspira, reverse postion? I think this this is better design, less bend at exhaust piping and less heat.

hi, would like to ask. is it possible to advance timing by adjusting some degree of TDC sensor? if possible, at what direction to front or back of the car?
*
The placement of the TDC sensor is fixed. I don't think you can change it.

The ignition timing is controlled by computer. So need to reprogram the ECU.

Total amount of oil is not 4 litre..should be around 3.6-3.8..can't remember..

Just convert 4 quart to litre...cos each bottle is 1 quart in imperial unit countries.

haha better pour in full. Mine the mech did not pour all in, the other day weird already the engine oil level blink.. yesterday i drive half way engine MATI! crank so many time also cannot start up. but i get to see the battery light and low engine oil light were up la. After 15 minutes... i was able to start up the car again.. Go home immediately pour all in.. surprisingly no overflow.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

Don't get it wrong - the savvy's oil sump capacity is 3.65L + oil filter 150 ml so total is about 3.8litre.

I've been using 4 quars = 3.79 litre as Amsoil only come with quart bottles. Some people said using over the capacity will affect the FC cos too heavy, or some other negative affects.. Usually there is leftover when using 4 litres pack, as the mechanic will know when it reaches the max line on the dipstick he will stop pouring it.

LIke I said, I dun think there's thing to worry about unless you pour 5 litre in it lol.

rclxm9.gif speed meter drop to 0 km and auto light on, when you brake the D change to N. you switch off engine start again. this is not solution if you traffic jam or on the road. they will horn king you.

AMT solution: 1. open bonnet and water 3 liter pour on car windscreen then check where the water drop to engine,
normally water drop from wiper motor.
                    2. DIY or hardware buy silicon metal, go workshop repairman windscreen, ask him open windscreen
bottom plastic cover and wiper motor metal, then you put silicon or seal it all.
                    3. oil sensor, speed sensor, macam-macam sensor DC supply (+) and (-) connection, if water go in sensor
will shock (+) (-) that's y speed meter and auto light on because CPU or ECU crazy information when
shock circuit. your solution seal the sensor (+) (-).

rclxub.gif dont ask forman do for you, they wont belief, if they belief done for you, esok they tak boleh cari makan.
workshop forman will ask you change this, change that, change gearbox, tukar ini, tukar ini after you paid but problem still on your head.
you sell your car  no value market because they talking many problem and killing owner savvy.  doh.gif

90% pomen sux..nowdays should require formal qualification to handle modern cars.

FC really depend on personal - I just realise I have never change the fuel filter even once shocking.gif

I dunno how you guys get so low FC..maybe due to my R3 exhaust muffler, other mods..but one thing I got idle a lot sometimes...traffic jams..taking like 45 minutes for a 12km peak hour trip lol.

I'm using 185/60/14!! Where got sagat? tried with 3 person at the back also no sagat...the fact it is higher than my previuos 185/60/13 (sagat with 3 person at the back) or stock 175/50/15. The wheel arch space looks small also.

The rims are JRD look like BLM rim but not 100% same. 6'' wheel with 38 offset.

Added on November 22, 2012, 11:11 amFor cost reason dun look at other choice di 185/60/14 is the most popular with so many choice.

I think somebody mention before he need to change some seals in the engine.?

My tappet was out producing lots of noise- need to take our cam/rocker cover to adjust the tappet. Intake manifold need to removed to access the cam cover.

So need to change the cam cover gasket, 4 intake manifold seals and 4 spark plug seals.

Tappet adjustment - RM30
Cam cover gasket - RM58
Intake manifold gasket - RM58
Spark plug seals x 4 - RM80

Timing belt kit - RM320
Labour - RM100
Water pump - RM110

Some oil stain in spark plugs well so need to change those seals also.
