Newbie to S2 thread here. Used to fucuk my Galaxy S Vibrant from Rom to Rom. Now patiently waiting for S2 to get itself out of Samsung Service Centre ...... vmad.gif vmad.gif

one fine day when she restarts, it stuck in download mode but the vol button is not working
long story short, managed to jig it back to 0 binary counter and send it back to Samsung for them to repair
touchwood they dun find out i have my TB file in there whistling.gif sweat.gif

usually when you restore with TB (apps + data) will cause FC later on or after a few days
this is because the bug from previous build or rom will remains after restoring the data
some called it the ghost from previous rom...hahaha

now reading up on you guys comment and decide what rom to flash once i got my s2 back from SC...
it seems no perfect GB rom as it is... sad.gif
i reckoned the development for s2 is still really at infancy stage

try to go to TB and wipe the data of the apps that causing you problem / or temp freeze it
see if it works...if not it might be a bad flash

one question, is the zip file flashed using CWM Manager can be flashed in recovery?
i dun really like this CWM Manager.... its just like ROM manager but both dun really serve the purpose if you are familiar with CWM recovery rclxub.gif

yeah, basically rom mgr saves you time and tats it.
i read somewhere that it is preferable to go into recovery mode using button combo instead of rom manager / CWM manager
cant remember why is it though

initial diagnostic says hardware prob
when in download mode or recovery mode, vol button not working...

itching for my s2 back....
